I was told today (on the stadium tour) that the ashes of both Bill and his wife were being removed and reburied under the new pitch. Guessing they are in an urn.

The clubs staff (when on the stadium tour) said its not part of the new stadium foundations etc, it is a repair to some ducting. Not sure if I believe it.

I would say they're telling the truth. There was ducting being ran in. There were electricians re routing supplies that went through the new ducting route. I'm there all week again so I'll try and find out a bit more about if the seats are going back in or not and when the blocks are due to be demolished for the new foundations.

A 5 year naming rights deal on a stadium doesn't sound right at all- in this instance it may genuinely be mixed up with a shirt deal.

Or it could just be a humongous deal to pay it all off short term?

Or, levy being levy, would rather have shorter deals and renegotiate them more regularly rather than being tied down to a deal that could seem outdated within 5 years.

Think you'll probably find that sponsors are reluctant to give us a massive 10-15 year sponsorship as we've not proven ourselves as a top dog and champions league regular.

Would imagine an announcement is imminent as ST renewals open up on 31st May so we will need to know one way or another whats happening.

May be waiting for the end of the 6 week waiting period from Sec of State decision to see if a Judicial Review is applied for or not for any announcement. That is round about 27 May., which is 6 weeks from the date on the Council's decision notice.
