This makes me sad, you insult one of the greatest players ever, just because he is pro OS. You sir are dog shit.

What he said was dog shit. The man gives the club a wide berth on several occasions because of a fall out with the board and all of a sudden sides with them on a move away?

His name was the second table at my wedding. His contribution to my club second to only one.....the one he sold up the river.

Just because Greaves scored goals for us doesn't mean he's not a tool.

Gascoigne too.

And yet there are people on here calling 'Foul!' over the Newham loan.

I'm one of them. I don't really want Haringey to give the club money, but if Newham underwrite the OS for West Ham, Haringey are going to have to think hard about their approach to the NDP.

Is anyone getting a bit depressed by this whole saga now? Can the Qatari's just buy us, keep Levy as chairman, build the NDP and build a tube station near WHL (and chuck in Messi and Ronaldo for good measure). Then we can just get back to being the greatest team on the planet.

You would then have a bunch of fans saying the club is dead because we have taken the Man City route and sold our soul

Mate slagging of Sir James, will guarantee a fight.
Unlike BT or SOTM,both of whom I have total respect for, as they have passionately argued their points, you have dragged the whole thing into the gutter with the Bll Nic thread. Perhaps you are just a WUM.

Agreed - the comment a couple of pages back about how moving 5 miles is akin to taking the wrong newborn baby home from the hospital proved it for me.

He could actually be a very clever pro-stratford person using reverse psychology.

The Bill Nick thread was meant to make people realise there is more to this than just money and a shiney new stadium.

People didnt like it because it made them realise what would we would be doing if we moved.

I can take the abuse and the neg rep if it makes people think.

An interesting experiment would be to see who is pro and who is anti and weight it against the amount of games each goes to a season.

Of course someone who just watches on TV isnt going to care where we play.

I am just wondering if anyone could tell me whether any sites around Tottenham Hale were looked at by the club before they settled on the NDP site for the new stadium?

I'm not sure whether there are suitable/available sites within the area? But seeing as though it is, by far, the site best served by public transport in the Tottenham area, it must have been investigated by the club as a possible location. It has the National Rail link, the Victoria line running through and the London Overground within a close proximity, so is our best bet in the area for accommodating 60,000 fans.

If we don't obtain the Olympic Park, Levy will be on the lookout for sites once again and am just wondering whether a move to Tottenham Hale, a site in our neighbourhood, would be possible?

Douglas Eyre sports centre? Next to Balckhorse road tube and train. No need to knock much down.

Your arrogance is truly startling. People who live in different parts of the world, or those struggling to make ends meet, are just as much Spurs fans as you.

I missed about 20 games, home and away, between 1967 and 1975. My job then forced me abroad for 9 years but I still managed to get to see Spurs @ 8-9 times a year. I'm now retired and get to the Lane on average about 5 times a year, so watch them mostly on the telly now.

I've supported us at 5 FA cup finals, 5 lge cup finals and 3 UEFA cup finals.

I have nutured 3 sons who are regulars at WHL, one of whom is a season ticket holder.

Are you seriously suggesting that my opinion regarding the location of the new stadium, and the thousands of other life-long Spurs fans who have passed the baton onto their offspring, doesn't count.

It would be laughable if it wasn't so insulting, and you have the barefaced cheek to talk about history, tradition and heritage.

So you haven't glanced towards the Hale over the last 18 months or so and wondered what those bloody great cranes and brand new tower blocks are doing down there?
