What is the qualifying criteria for a true fan.

I think to be a true fan you have to have the same views as him, simple really

I can understand the Say no to Tottenham outside of Tottenham" brigade somewhat, but not the "Say no to Tottenham outside North London" thats just mental.

Then for me, you have just diluted the whole N17:Say no to Stratford campaign.

The whole point was not supposed to be Stratford based, it was supposed to be "We are N17", not "We are N17 (or maybe N16, or N12 or even N7)"

To some the club's history is trying to play the "glory game", and, to quote Bill Nic, ""Spurs have got to be the best in the land, not the second best," to be in Europe or be nothing. I don't understand how those who claim the heart and soul of the club is tied into the Tottenham N17 area and if we move from there the heart is ripped out of the club and it will die then turning round and saying they would be prepared to accept a move if all else failed so long as that move stayed in North London.

Either the heart and soul of the club is in Tottenham or it isn't make up your mind?! Or is the Heart in Tottenham but the soul spreads to all of North London.

HOw about this, I think of Spurs as a LONDON club not confined to North London we are a London club so I am more than happy for the club to stay anywhere in London.

As usual, you only see the part of Nicholson you want to, the traditional man, but as the quotes suggest, everything he did at Tottenham was about being the best, the best players, the best football, the best set-up. We will never know what he would think about the potential move, but Spurs cannot ever be the best playing in our current stadium.
