Saw an idea on twitter that we could add another tier to WHL instead of building a new stadium. Thoughts?

Think I read something about this. As far as I remember I think WHL isn't made to make it bigger. So I don't know if there is enough space to do it and I think it would be more expensive than building a new stadium.

But this would be the solution I prefer...

When they tear down WHL I would like one of the jumb screens in my back garden

Anything can be made bigger if well designed, The issue is that fact its not in the middle of our site, so we cant renovate and it wont necessarily be more expensive, it does often go expensive because things are normally changed in the current design that weren't engineered for their new application

Brand new stadium for me, just keep it steep and the single tier and it will be great. Also leave some room to expand for when we are winning the league and cl every season.

Surely the club wouldn't have a single tier because the club can make more money out of the VIP boxes, which run through the middle of the stadium. :D

Seems the only reason we are even considering a single tier is so that the stadium doesn't become nicknamed as emirates-lite. :D

I'd love a single tier but only for people who would constantly sing like the people of the 1882 movement.

So a single tier is purely for atmospheric reasons? Well we aren't famous for our vocal support.

Really? The park lane ans shelf are some of the best singers in the league. We do go quiet at times but thats more a case of the team scaring the shit out of us.

They are more quiet than loud these days.

It's another reason to get a big capacity. Cheap seats at the top and we can get some of the younger fans coming back. They are the ones who make the most noise and those are the ones being priced out.

I think the club will do something to improve the vocal support at the new stadium, they'd be stupid to go to all the effort of planning a stand for atmospheric effect and then put no more effort into it. I'd imagine they have plans to try and get some of that 1882 thing into it, they're both already in contact, so hopefully they put it to good use

Whilst I applaud the notion that bigger capacity would enable a more competitive pricing structure and allow younger, more vocal support to attend, unfortunately not a single big club in England seems prepared to employ this model. They're all too interested in making money. Frustrating.
