True but that was not something we could change at the time. I'm amazed at your age given your moniker. Totally threw me, I thought you were around my age using Cliff. Not saying anything wrong with doing so BTW.the Europe point I think is only valid in view of the ban on English clubs post-Heysel. In the 80s, we won two fa cups, one uefa, lost a league cup final, nearly won the title but were worn down by everton in the home straight and somehow managed not to win anything under pleat in 87. we were box office when I was growing up, and we can be again...
Update from Edmonton on COYS
'Brief archway update. Some division at the top about whether to settle or not. However, the appeal is considered weak and we should expect a deal to be done.'
If the appeal is weak, then hopefully it will get chucked out before it reaches the the stage where it's heard at the high court.
sounded more like a deal will be done before it goes to court. Or thats the way i read it

Must be more than difference between the two sides a couple of years ago.
If not why are we bothering in the first place.
I still don't understand this bit about having to play our home games at another stadium because of the delay caused by the CPO appeal. Why does that make any difference?
Only one season from first brick to last rather than three quarter build then finish the last end during the following season, so if start is delayed the finish won't be.I still don't understand this bit about having to play our home games at another stadium because of the delay caused by the CPO appeal. One season build instead of two, will give us an extra season of increased revenue at capacity.I still don't understand this bit about having to play our home games at another stadium because of the delay caused by the CPO appeal. Why does that make any difference?
