From Edmonton on COYS this morning 'CPO not tomorrow, mixture of archway and pickles. Club really pissed off. Maybe February?'

Actually when you read Mister Jez's post above that's what it says. Archway v SoS.

Guess we got it wrong.

I did hear on talksport news today about the court case with archway and spurs and February. Apparently the archway bloke is an aston villa fan. Didn't catch beginning of story.

Not sure if this has been posted but from BBC SportsDay

"Archway Sheet Metal Works, the business behind the current Paxton Road Stand at White Hart Lane which is standing in the way of Tottenham's plans for a new stadium, will have their bid to stay at the site heard in the High Court on 17-18 February.

The owners of Archway, who in November saw a mystery fire which gutted the premises, said they had also received "bomb threats" but are challenging the confirmation of a compulsory purchase order that could force them to make way for a new 56,000-capacity stadium complex."

The judge had to declare what team he followed - Villa. The hearing will be in Feb according to TS?

Christ we know how to drag things out in this country. Sounds like it was a hearing to decide when/whether it would go forward. Looks like Feb 17th-18th now.

From the Spurs Official:

Following the Secretary of State confirming the Compulsory Purchase Order in respect of the last remaining land to be acquired for the stadium site, the landowners, Archway Sheet Metal Works Ltd and the Josif Family exercised their right to seek to challenge the Secretary of State's decision in the High Court and this was due to be heard in court today and tomorrow - 15th and 16th of January 2015. Due to the fact that not all parties were ready to proceed today, the Court has adjourned the hearing for a short time and this will now be heard on the 17th and 18th February 2015.

Sounds like Edmonton was spot on.

I'm beginning to think that they'll crack nuclear fusion before Spurs get started on the redevelopment.

So because the Josif family couldn't be arsed to get it shit together in time we have to wait another month?

Tbf both parties only had 12 years to prepare for this. Fuck the world.

Those who remember me posting info last year, will hopefully be able to remember me posting tweets from Peter Josif to myself, in which he stated he & his family will do all they can to delay this development. It seems they're keeping their word

whilst the envy of most of the world, our legal system can seemingly still be played by politicians and lawyers alike. Fkin frustrating.

The lawyers and judges love it cause more money. Our politicians wont do anythin because half of them were lawyers or are married to one.

Remember the other side is Harringay Council. Not exactly known for their efficiency.

I've tweeted Peter Josif to see if he'll tell me who's responsible for the delay. I obviously don't know if he'll respond, but he had no problems telling me how much he'll do to prevent the stadium build, so I don't see why he wouldn't answer me this time either.
