I'm ok with the current destruction. Most of us have seen major renovation at the Lane in the last 20-30 years. It's when the big move happens that will get me.

When they have to dismantle the whole of the current stadium it's going to take quite a while isn't it?

They're going to have to have quite beefed up security over that period too as you could imagine they'll be lots of different sets of people trying to get in.

I'm no demolition expert, but I assume they have to be very careful dismantling the roof as it's a very light (& fragile) structure. If they just ripped the northern part of the East Stand roof off, then it might compromise or break the rest of the roof. And they have to remove the roof before demolishing that part of the stand underneath for the same reason.

Whereas if they were just demolishing the stadium entirely, they wouldn't need to care about that they could just knock it all down, crush it and separate materials off site.

Agree. They need to be very carefull when removing the NE corner but for the demo of the stadium in a years time, once anything has been removed they want to keep they will simply rip it apart

The best thing about going on that site is the name they've given to the stadium.

They've only gone and called it
NEW WHITE HART LANE
Shouldn't that be "New Look White Hart Lane" at least it sounds sponsored like that
