old Notts County eh!....they also got to play in the friendly when the new Juventus stadium was opened (in recognition of Juve copying and borrowing the Notts County kit many, many moons ago...)

Also why they are Juventus Football Club rather than being in italian.

I believe that one of the requirements for the H & S certificate to be issued is to establish how long it can take to empty the stadium. What usually happens is the the stadium is opened for a friendly match or two, without charge to the public and a certificate is then issues afterwards. I'm not sure of the exact details of the requirements though as it is a long, long time ago that I had a very peripheral role in a new stadium.

I think it's because without the H & S certificate they are not allowed to charge, it would be illegal.

I think feyenoord would be more likely to play the last match in the old stadium to save on demolition costs.

It's really coming along isn't it. I know the people who know about these things said the structure would go up pretty quickly and it was the internal fittings etc that really take the time, but it's still going up much faster than I was expecting.

Rumours on SSC that there is a new walkway to the Paxton Rd end from the High Road through the new West Stand now the Warmington House route is now closed:

I've now got a vision of a helicopter the size of Albania lowering the whole pre-built roof while a bunch of guys cling to the support pillars trying not to drop their spanners. And I'm going to be really disappointed when it doesn't happen like that.
