I’m out
As of tonight i’m officially turning in my membership of the BsoDL.
BSoDL Assemble! Activate apologetic mode!
Mace didn't put prices up 40%. - so perhaps they should of sorted the prices out once they found out for sure there would be delays. yep the fault was most probably found at the event they had Saturday, so the perfect time to start selling ST
Mace didn't fail to find a naming rights partner. - so finding a naming right partner would of solved all the building issues?
Mace didn't sell season tickets to a ground before they were sure it'd be ready. - No but I'm sure when Levy asked Mace back in April, they most probably told him they were on schedule, then we had to re-arrange 2 fixtures 1 at Wembley and 1 swapped with Watford. if they could of held the test events in April they would of known that there was issues, but that wasn't possible, and even a chance that the failures that have caused the delay, weren't even completed by that date.
Mace didn't fail to tell anyone it wouldn't be ready until people had already made arrangements. - because the faults have only just been found, and if they had worries they should of told Levy
Mace didn't fail to sign a single player in the transfer window. - so you would of rathered a signing just 1 signing even though the only options that might of been possible due to clubs not selling their star players, is to buy a player Poch might of not wanted?
And in any case, Mace were hired by Daniel Levy. The buck stops with him. He has made a catalogue of errors this summer. - I'm hoping someone involved in the building industry can help me here @davidmatzdorf, but whoever built it might of hit delays or faults, shit happens get over it. god I hope the club do something for the disgruntled, though whatever they do it won't be enough for some .
Levy's statement said the problem was today. Not sure how fast you want the communication. He would have to confirm we could use wembley etc... before issuing a statement.
Well, statement doesnt say today. If anything could have gone wrong, it would have been known during first test event 10 days back. I am sure, club should have known these 'safety' issues latest 10 days back. Since then, some ST members even got Gold membership invite. I am not a ST holder but I can certainly understand some of the people's anger.
Even today, when we went to FA with the payment, we could have easily released a short statement. At the moment, club mgmt has egg on their face after the news leak, which was always going to happen within FA
We appreciate the support our partner the NFL has shown since the extent of this issue became evident today.

Well, thanks a lot JJ! lolJJ said it will definitely be ready for Liverpool, so that's enough for me.
I’m not blaming the club for this particular problem. Everyone knows that even minor development projects hit bumps that cause delays, let alone projects on this scale.
What i’m Pissed with the club about is that they charged us sky high ST prices for the privilege of watching spurs in a state of the art modern stadium at WHL, even though they would have known that there was a possibility that the stadium would’nt be ready on time.
With the possibility that the stadium would’nt be ready on time for the beginning of this season, they should have gone easy on ST prices while informing us that this is because we may need to play x amount of games at Wembley incase the stadium falls behind schedule.
In your experience in the business have you often seen a stadium demolished and a new stadium built to the level this one is now in a corresponding timescale?
Yes, saw that. If you think that Levy was told this today , following the update, he took the call to pay FA in few hours, thats seems far fetched. He is very hands on as we know. Whatever safety issue they have described should be known alteast 10 days before (if not even before) in test event 1.
None of those were on top of the existing footprint of the old stadium.
The due date isn't unreasonable at all. The pitch and roof will probably be done by the end of June and people will wonder what they got all worked up about. It's moving at an incredible pace.
Yes which is a slightly badly worded way of saying thanks to our partner the NFL who became aware of the extent of this issue today, not THFC who knew last week.We appreciate the support our partner the NFL has shown since the extent of this issue became evident today.
so what should they of charged? a lot less to then find out it would be ready. they have most probably only found out the issues from the club test event on Saturday, if they had found them before the event the week before wouldn't of been allowed to go ahead
It was posted on the Spurs official site.I posted this about an hour ago....Ongoing tests in the build-up to their return to White Hart Lane have discovered issues with “critical safety systems,” the club admitted yesterday, From the Express. Anybody any idea what they are talking about?

Big time difference between Liverpool date and nfl date, last week mid sep was ruled out as a date when the issues could be resolved, today has seen a more definitive timetable ruling out Cardiff and nfl game fit definite. No sitting on hands, just delay advising Liverpool wouldn’t be happening enabling rumours last Friday to start percolating the football world including Liverpool fans.So what you think levy was just sitting on his hands for the last week hoping the nfl didn't notice? Or possibly they were trying to find a solution that would mean we wouldn't have to delay?
What did Levy do here?Know those bonuses Levy was paid for doing such a good job, reckon any might be recoverable?
