There’s been so much smoke about it not being ready from many people that have worked on or know people who have worked on the site. Way too much smoke. And where there is smoke, there will normally be fire. Just looking at the pictures, one could see it was an extremely tall ask for the stadium to be ready for a test event August, and opening mid September.I can't believe that so few people knew about the problems and delays at the stadium, I was told a couple of weeks ago and there are vids going around from the guys who are working there saying the stadium will NOT be ready within the time specified by THFC.
Mates who work, and have worked, on the stadium have told me that it is far from ready, despite what is being put out to the public.
A few of them are Chelsea and Arse fans and they are lapping it up!
Late November sounds right if things go our way, to be honest. Chelsea will be tentatively scheduled as the opener, IMO.If it cant make that, it’ll be the new year. City reads as TBC for the moment probably as the clubs work with the PL and TV through swapping the fixtures with the return as we cant use Wembley that weekend. If the club wasnt rushed into this statement by Neil Ashton, we’d likely have had that set by the friday afternoon newsdump that we were probably aiming for with the statement.
