gonna be January.
Listen to thinky. You only had to look at the rate of progress over the last 5 weeks to know it was never gonna be ready.
People need to get real.
Nowhere. Near. Ready.
Be prepared for January opener.
Accept it and let's get on with the new season.
Stadium's gonna be amazing. Worth the wait.
Frustrating as hell but most great projects have their set backs.
Anyone ever talk about the engine issues (exploiding mid flight) on the 747 had during testing amongst problems or even Wembley stadium's year long delay? Hardly anyone, if ever.
The former is the most recognisable aircraft of all time and the latter one of the most famous stadiums in the World.
Didn’t Atletico Madrid open their new stadium with a night game last year.Which leaves Southampton on the 5th December, but then that’s a night game. Would we want the first game to be where the arrival times of fans are all congested as they tend to be for night games?
don't the trust want snub these games or is it seemingly ok
What doesn't read well?
Aren't the group stage matches because they have to be played at the same stadium?
It actually says “ many issues” blimey talk about exaggerating the facts.
Didn’t Atletico Madrid open their new stadium with a night game last year.
Seem to remember them going big with a light show and fireworks display that looked really good
I think we must be better off financially playing CL at Wembley. It’s probably around £1.5/2m extra gate money. I can’t believe we are paying Wembley more than £1m a game ?
Just saw a tweet that made me think. If they announced Wembley for the season would people then expect the remainder of the ST to refunded in a lump sum say 15/19 th ? Could the club even do this or have the funds already been committed ? Which is why they may try to draw this game by game scenario out as long as they can ?
