Now that’s an optimistic post (for once! ). There’s 2 more NFL games to go yet before our City game.Wembley pitch held up pretty well tbh. Should be fine if not perfect for city.
It's not about our stadium though. Now that’s an optimistic post (fo once! ). There’s 2 more NFL games to go yet before our City game.
That PK whatshisname posted a picture of some rubbish in a room and based on it, he says the stadium wont pass safety test. 3pm announcement.
Maybe his job is "expectations manager"Regardless of the veracity of his claims, it's incredible that this guy hasn't been fired from whatever job he does, given he has a picture of his face on his Twitter page. Unless of course his job is 'wander around the stadium taking photos and posting them with passive aggressive captions'.
I would've thought that we are just seeking a safety certificate for the 20k test.Depends on where those areas are.
But even if they are areas that the public will use during test events, it shouldn't take long to clear.
If the first test event is only for a few thousand fans, we could just open up 1 stand.
The images we have seen of almost finished areas, have they been more in one stand than others?
Does anyone know if we can get a safety certificate for just 1 or 2 stands and then open the rest for the next test event?
Well if there is an announcement today he'll suddenly have a bit more credibility.
Edit, he's also said this, today:
I mean, the club hasnt done itself any favors this year. One calamitous PR disaster after another. They’ve used all the built up good will from the prior seasons and then some. Makes me think that some director who kept it all in line left and no one else in the boardroom has the slightest clue of what to do.The club aren’t doing itself any favours atm. All the rumours and counter rumours flying around.
I really hope we do get a statement as I’m fed up with being in the dark about when it’s remotely likely to open
Where is all this 3pm announcement coming from?
