Talksport said that although he is a goner that he's "not that kind of guy". Although to me it reads like a bitter rival fan looking for reasons why the stadium isn't going to move us up a level and that of course its only a matter of time until our players leave to get success. :finger:
Ah well if talksport vouch for him that's good enough for me.

We are close without the stadium

£382m last accounts puts us close Chelsea, Arse (only £10m) and pool.

Add in the stadium, we are on our way to overtaking all three

Agree but you need to take into account that we only surpassed the media revenue of both Chelsea & Arsenal last year for the first time in lord knows how long. We made more than them on the media front yet still lag behind them not just in revenue but sponsorships, fan bases etc. We've still got plenty to do on and off the pitch to match and hopefully surpass them

As previously announced, the Opening Ceremony of our new home will take place ahead of tonight’s inaugural Premier League game against Crystal Palace, kick-off 7.45pm.
If you are in the bowl by 5.30pm, you will be able to catch a live pitchside performance from the ‘Tottenham Hotspur Marching Band’, who performed during the Finale of White Hart Lane, welcoming you into your new home with some classic Spurs anthems.
We ask that fans are in their seats for the match no later than 30 minutes before kick-off for the start of the ceremony itself – all fans, home and away, will find a flag in their club colours located on their seats.
Our Ceremony will feature musical performances and video content that pay homage to the Finale of White Hart Lane and embrace the spirit of our local community.
You will hear a song of hope for the young people of Tottenham and a special arrangement of an all-time fan favourite as we raise the curtain on our new home.
The Ceremony will be broadcast live by Sky Sports in the UK and streamed live on all the Club’s digital platforms, with coverage beginning at 6.30pm. Viewers should note that flashing lights will be used during the performances.
We hope you enjoy the show as we mark this historic moment.

Other than the attached sentiment the opening ceremony is hardly something to rush for. Unfortunately I work across the road from the ground and don't fancy milling about too long so I will be there from about 5.30

Indeed it was reliant on us gaining CL football whilst they didn't. If we qualify along with Arsenal then Arsenal will shoot ahead of us again, likely significantly. God forbid if they qualify and we don't.

Fabulous message from his excellency. Covers all the bases here. Doesn’t sound like ENIC are going anywhere for a while either.

I love her so much, I was at her concert 2 years ago and it was the best musically thing I’ve ever witnessed. She’s a queen

Which of the Sky Sports channels is the ceremony going to be on? Main Event/PL/Football?

Shambles on North Stand row 4. Run out of beer at 7pm (so they tell me) and also run out of programmes. Wtf.

However, the inside of the stadium (pitch / seating) is brilliant.

It looks amazing.

I'm not at the game, just watching Sky and the Tottenham website.
