The new name for the stadium is the "American express community stadium"

Is that not the shittiest name for a football stadium!!

I work for Amex so I think it's great! :) Emirates is surely the shittest, purely because of who it houses.

LOL I was going to say about the Emirates. I just think it's such a terrible name. I much prefer names that arn't just the sponsor!!

Ours will always been known as White hart lane to me. I won't be calling it anything else.

I'd like it to be called the Peroni Nastro Azzurro...just so I can say I'm just nipping to the beer!

It's not a great name but Brighton are hardly rolling in the benjamins, they got a pretty decent deal out of Amex as well, so I hear

As good as all of this is, they will still get knocked out in the First round of the Carling cup by the mighty Cobblers!!

Not with super Gus at the helm, assisted by Mauricio 'nutjob' Tarrico

Cool, I didn't realise Treacle was there with Gus.
I'm not a massive follower of Brighton but once the new stadium'a finished I'm hoping to get down to see a few games.
It's (now) my local club and I can take my two boys there quite easily, whereas dragging a two and three year old to WHL would be beyond a nightmare!
Brighton's quite a child friendly club by all accounts and by the time the stadium is completed, my kids will be old enough to go to their first game.
It'll be good for them to get into watching a local team.

They'll always be Spurs at heart though!

I've got a soft spot for Brighton. It's one of my favourite places in the UK. Have some great footballing memories of trips to goldstone ground as well.

Good luck to them with the new ground.

Train to Victoria, tube to Seven Sisters ?

I didn't realise Tarrico was at Brighton either. Another reason to wish them well. I'm going to keep an eye out for them next year.
