Let us remember that with the Champion's League this season the first team will come under the spotlight and scrutiny of Europe's top clubs. We are already having tentative enquiries from Premiership rivals who are testing the solidarity of the current squad and if we have (sorry...when we have) a really good run in the CPL then that interest for our star players will grow and grow. Whilst financially we will struggle to match the incoming offers maybe the incentive of playing at one of the finest football grounds the world has to offer will persuade them to have at least one more season at the club and another shot at the title and other silverware. It is an absolutely critical stage for the future of this club at the moment and Levy and Poch really do have to 'sell the dream' if we are to keep the current team together.

You don't think a player going to the rags ringing out demands for our club is a problem? If this was a Liverpool player we would be laughing our tits off.

I think it's fun for us as fans to see these stories but I doubt the club's decisions would be affected. The players are contracted to play and it's up to the clubs to buy/sell them. Money talks and nothing else IMO

I kinda want us to sign someone random that no-ones heard of just so I can picture Danny Rose, smashing the shit out of his keyboard while googling the player.
