New stadium

After watching things unfold tonight and being a little disappointed and confused? I got to thinking maybe levy is looking at this new streamlined squad and feels we have sufficient youngsters that can solidify our position in the league this season and that we may be able to push for forth. He has saved vast amounts of money off the wages and of course made money on sales too.
I am thinking that all this money is now going towards our new stadium, the Olympic stadia for me is a smokescreen that levy is now using to try and help with finance for NPD. It really wouldn't surprise me if things start to happen fairly soon. A few quiet windows and we have made good money recently, we will have to tighten our belts to make this happen and this could well be the start of it now. I hope I am right as I believe it is much more important to get the stadium built than to be spending huge amounts on players that we cannot afford to pay!! Get the stadium asap and then we can afford these players and there wages.
We need to be looking at the future and having a little vision, levy is a businessman and a bloody good one at that and I think he has a plan that we might see start to unfold very soon, maybe this has something to do with why JL was seen around lately as well?
To sum up if we finish fifth again this season but the stadium is underway I for one will be very happy with this.

Hmm the problem with building a new stadium is that the returns take a long time. Didn't Arsenal say that it would be ten years after construction before they had paid off the stadium, meaning limited transfer activity until then? Ours would be longer as we don't have consistent champions league football or anything close to Arsenal's scouting system, so cheap young players are not our forte. Even if we start building the new stadium now it will be years until we see the investment in personnel necessary to get us to hang with the elite.
