The irony is that the EPL is trying so hard, publicly, to combat racism but is perfectly happy to turn a blind eye, or more accurately, totally ignore human rights, public beheadings, state sponsored murders etc.. The pessimist in me says there doesn’t seem to be that many obscenely rich entities, with questionable human rites violations, left out there, to hoover up the remaining English premier league football clubs, who as yet don’t have such owners. I know how much of a spoilt little **** I sound but fuck why Newcastle. I don't think I will ever see us win the league in my lifetime. Newcastle will do it within the next 5-10 years.

Newcastle is a one city club with massive fan base big potential to improve and could buy it for only £300 compared to say us where Levy is asking north of £2.5-3 billion!

I'm fascinated to know what has changed since the Saudi's were deemed to unpleasant to be accepted into the EPL. Have they managed to un-torture, un-dismemeber and un-murder Jamal Kashoggi for instance?
