I'm absolutely gutted by what's happening today. However, the way some of you have rounded on this young side is pathetic. We've had a blinding season up until the last few weeks. Telling some of these players to "fuck off" just because we aren't going to get bragging rights is quite frankly absurd. I wanted this badly too, but maybe they are exhausted and are squad depth is the problem, not because "they couldn't give a shit"

What the hell is going on. Southampton was bad but this is another level. Do they not understand why we want to win?

Highly unlikely. They're just saving themselves for the euros or a trip with the lads to Dubai/Miami

Oh well, Spursy yet again. I actually don't know why I'm surprised, we have too many rank average players. Might upset a few here but since Vertonghen has come back in we have become a horrendous defensive team. He is a complete liability.
Shocking decision to drop Wimmer like that. Verts should have earned he way back in. Sent out the wrong message at the time

Kneejerks - no we are having our arses kicked by a team who got relegated last week and at the same time throwing away 2nd place finish to our arch rivals. Nothing kneejerk about it, it is a pathetic performance from our team right now.

It's a shit performance, but it doesn't completely undo everything we've done this season in automatically qualifying for the Champions League group stage, something which most people didn't think we would achieve. Some people really need to gain some perspective. One game doesn't make a whole season.

In all honesty why the fuck is finishing above the Arse so important?

Yes I know my damn history but I could not care less about them. There seems to be this obsession that I don't get perhaps because all I give a shit about is THFC my club and no one else

2 0 ... it is shit but we are in CL that's what matters most.

Take it you don't live in the UK?

It's the Pochettino collapse at the end of the year. His training methods arent meant to take us through a whole year. Eventually the players out. Happens to his teams every year.
Is a mentality collapse.. Something he fervently stressed upon.. That's what making these couple of weeks so annoying particularly..

im better than ryan fucking mason, can somebody tell me what the fuck he offers?

What exactly has Dier been offering more than Mason?

I mean everyone's been pretty fucking abject, their goals both came from our attacking player fucking away the ball (Eriksen and Kane) which they have all game, Son rarely ever seems to have the ball under any kind control.

But I really don't get why Mason is being singled out for dogs abuse when Dier's done constructively fuck all either. There were times like 27min when someone was looking for an out ball and Dier just stood there instead of moving two yards to make an option.

Embarrassing. Thought we got over this bottling but it appears not.

Mason isn't good enough. Never has been and never will be. Son and Lamela look like two underage players against men any time they have the ball. Looks like they still don't know how to defend properly either.

Cheers Dembele and Alli. Completely fucked the most important part of our team. Absolute dickheads

Being a goal behind could give us a chance but 2-0 down. No way. We are done. Pathetic. A win at home would have done it against WBA. Bunch of legends.

When Dier drops in between the back two he usually then has Dembele and Alli in front of him. Today he has Mason and Eriksen. We're lightweight in the middle of the park. Kane has to drop off deeper and help battle and link up in the middle. Get Son and Lamela making strikers runs off the shoulders of their back four from wide and hope Eriksen and Mason's forward thinking can pick them out

Have to wonder whether Poch has let the players mentality slip since the title went.

It's clear from his interviews that he doesn't care greatly about finishing above Arsenal, I don't think that's mind games either.

Shame because this performance will have undone a season long of hard work from the players to build a special bond with the fans.

No further proof required that we didn't deserve to be in Leicester's shoes.

Dismal scoreline - what the hell are they playing at? Where's the pride? If you're not gonna do it for the fans, at least get your team-mate the Golden Boot. Shite.

Poch really didn't look too upset on the sidelines. I doubt he is going to give them a bollocking and i doubt that we will improve second half. Only person who looks like give a shit is Lloris.

Finishing 2nd and finally coming above Arsenal would have been huge. You just can't overlook throwing that away - we've shown a real lack of character these past couple of weeks.
