This season has finished it for me. I stupidly got my hopes up for a fleeting moment before the West Ham game, only to have them dashed, in predictable fashion.

From that moment I knew nothing had changed and it never will.

Fuck you, Spurs. Absolute embarrassment of a football club, shameful bunch of ****s on and off the pitch. I have to keep supporting you because it's in my blood but I will never, ever get excited about the club again. I will never expect anything from them again. I'll laugh and wink to myself when they let us down year after year because I'll never again expect anything else.

Well done Spurs, you've literally broken me as a fan.

Is it just me or did we look more solid defensively with Wimmer?

One of the downsides to having a 1st 11 with substitutes, instead of a squad is demorililised substitutes.
Wimmer did a great job and it should have been down to Verts to earn his spot back. Mason is not as bad as the abuse he has got today, but he is completely out of match fitness and probably not as motivated because no matter how well he plays, he won't ever start.

Think I might have to turn off my facebook & twitter notifications and put my phone on silent.

glad the season is over we gave up at west brom, team not played any football since, wanted to fight chelsea rather than beat them at football and been on the beach every since, we need 2 centre mids, a forward and some decent creative player if we want to go forward, not holding my breath with how the last few transfer windows have panned out.

Could whoever kidnapped the best defender in the league please send him back, and take the pub player you swapped him for while you're at it

I feel really bad for anyone who went up there today. Disgrace of a performance though, plenty of work to be done still with these boys.

So that's it. We finish 3rd, but all joy and positivity from the season has been extinguished by a team who didn't beat Aston Villa this season. Another anti climax. Only Spurs.

Hate to say but the 'passion' some Arse players show for their club in their derision of our club is something our players should have. Can't see them ballsing up the last three games like we have. Time for Clint to shine (y)

@Shadydan As I said if some of our players showed the same passion as some of the Arse players in the rivalry between the cubs, they would not have capitulated like we did today. Your WTF rating is somewhat misplaced. Poch's comment re finishing above Arsenal may well have been tactical but it didn't work.

If you think this is bad, it only gets better. We've got the next few months of the transfer window shit****ery to endure on here...

Well that team needs to look at itself and then ask itself are we good enough to challenge in the champions league. I don't feel very confident about our chances.
