Wanyama has been way worse, though not doubt still not match fit.
Wanyama just needs games to regain fitness and match form. He's been poor today though. Dier needs surgery to have his head removed from his own ass.

Newport get a replay they about deserve and a cash windfall. Spurs and especially poch get out of jail for what must be one of the worst tactical lineups ive seen in 30 years. Poch needs to get some players in and drop any combination of sissoko/wanyama/dembele who are practically the same player.we dont need 3 of them.we need a creative mid or 6th is the best we are finishing this season.without eriksen we are so average

Thank god we've got another game in amongst a very, very tough run of fixtures

Well done to all involved

I think we need to give extra credit for Poch considering he played Sissoko for 90 mins again see I think you have to give Sissoko credit because he is the only player who gives or provides balance in those transitions - offensive to defensive, defensive to offensive - in the team.

There is literally no other player in the team who can provide that. This is the best quality he provides to the team imo and I am glad Poch recognises that.

Also credit to him for leaving both Alli and Son on the bench, I think his strategy was that we bring them back to Wembley and beat them, the more games we win at Wembley the easier it will be for us to win the final there.

Dembele and Wanyama were awful. We really need a back for Eriksen because when he doesn't play, we haven't got a clue.

Didn’t get to watch it but that starting lineup is embarrassing. Those four should never be on the pitch together at once. When Wanyama is your most gifted technician in the middle you are screwed from the start.

Reading these posts it sounds like a shambles of a performance

Got away with that. Very glad we're still in the cup. Horrible performance from everyone except Sissoko who performed his role fantastically, exactly as he always does.

Christ. Thank god we didn't lose that. We can bitch and moan all day about team selections and tactics but a terrible pitch, strong wind and the biggest game in Newports history was always a recipe for disaster, regardless of personnel.

Yep, we got ourselves out of that one by the skin of our teeth, but the important thing is that we did get out - every ingredient was there for an embarrassing upset and we've managed to get away with it.

Take them back to Wembley for a comfortable win and they can get their payday, as long we progress in the cup, that's all that matters to me.
