Good move for West Ham. Wouldn’t expect Moyes to last too long there. There’s no point bringing in a talent spotter when the talent you bring in will hardly have the ball because of his dour tactics.

They've just won a European trophy.

You just sound salty.

Not at all, his football’s garbage and most West Ham fans wanted him gone all season. I’m sure once the Conference League lustre’s worn off it’ll be back to that feeling.
European trophy lustre won't wear off for about 20 years.

We still bang on about ours from 62.

Trophies matter.

My point is even if a manager wins the most improbable league title of all time he can still be sacked by Xmas the next season. Like Moyes will.

You haven't made a point.

All you've done is slag off managers for winning titles because you don't approve of their football.

Which again, sounds very salty.

Wining the Conference League doesn’t mean his football’s any good. They were in severe danger of getting relegated for a lot of the season. Anyway, if you’re a fan, cool. We’ll have to agree to differ.

Listening to Ben Jacobs on Last Word on Spurs and he mentioned Paul Mitchell has no interest in returning to Spurs

(He also said Mitchell had no interest in Chelsea)

He's quite non-committal is Jacobs and in one breath suggesting we are increasingly looking within the Premier League for our search, so one presumes the likes of Dykes high up but he does also mention we have an interest in Dimitri De Conde.

Dykes doesn't do the job we need. And he's a first class dickhead. If Base do have Levy's ear too the extent some suggest, they will have made him very aware of that.

This guy came out of nowhere on Twitter with some Qatari stuff, none of which panned out and now he’s trying to be some sort of transfer guru riding on Ornstein and Romano’s coat-tails, but hasn’t really broken any story. He looks like a proper grifter if you ask me.

But then what remit is it that we as a club want?

A true DoF ala Paratici who's influence is overarching - see Pinto
A data analyst like Dykes?
A Technical Director like a Steidten to work alongside Gabannini?

It genuinely feels like we are no closer to appointing somebody than we were the day Paratici departed or that we feel as a club we've identified the not only the right candidate but indeed identifying the right role too.

It may well be a bolt out of the blue announcement ala Scott Munn but regardless, I hope we act sharpish or the board make a conscience decision to promote from within and inform the fans.

Agree. He hasn’t broken a single story or got an exclusive let alone anything correct. He’s another modern day journalist piggybacker.

I may be misremembering but didn't he break the Bissouma to Spurs story first?

Edit: Nope it was Gary Jacob, my bad

Haven’t checked in on here since the 30th May, I’ll be back on the 3rd of July just to see how many more pages we’ve filled as opposed to a vacancy…🤣

Les Ferdinand just stepped down from the role at QPR. Don’t tell me Levy isn’t considering it…
