It does point that way to be fair as opposed to perhaps retaining the status quo until Paratici returns in an official capacity.

Would imagine with Munn's arrival and now this news that we won't be far away from learning the revised structure between Ange and Munn/the board.

I would say if the head scout Paratici appointed is out on Munn's first day then Munn is getting rid of people associated with Paratici.

This is where I do worry about Munn. He's never had a job like this before.

Perhaps his approach rubbed people up the wrong way? He seemed to be a direct type, which doesn't work in highly political work environments.

According to this Football London article written earlier in the summer, he can be a "character" and sometimes difficult to deal with.

Perhaps Munn wants to work with someone else then?

I know the Paratici situation is out of our control but losing Gabbanini as well is a serious blow IMO. We have finally had a few windows of really good player recruitment and now we are back to square one it would seem. I hope there is a bloody good plan in place to justify this

Perhaps an early indicator that he will be his own person and not a nodding dog lickspittle to Levy/Cullen etc.

Sacking you chief scout does not really fit within "restructuring plan"
I'd say it 100% fits, new DoF with his own team and set up. One would assume that any DoF will want to pick his own chief scout. After all Munn only officially just joined so the restructuring is still in the early stages.

Hard to judge without knowing who is going to be the new DoF but feels like a bad move at this point.

If he's really been sacked I don't blame Munn for wanting to work with someone who's not so closely associated with Paratici. As good as he was, if I was Munn I'd be trying to make sure I don't have anyone undermining my work and find people who share my vision.

It'll be interesting to know more about what actually went down.

I think it fits perfectly with that because reading between the lines, the new CFO wants to bring on board - with presumably Ange's blessing - fresh impetus.

Semantics on 'restructuring' and we are all just reacting off the cuff here.

This could prove the be a huge mistake. Can’t understand why we’d take the risk of going in a completely different direction when our recent recruitment has massively successful.

Yeah - fair enough mate. When I think restructuring, I think of changing the hierarchy/org chart - which is different than changing personnel

I do like how Paratici has come in and overseen a restructure behind the scenes.

Then he gets banned, we restructure again and most of his guys are gone.

Now Munn is in, restructure again. Seems a bit... perpetual at the moment.

Letting go of LG doesn't signal a change in direction, just staff. Munn comes in (AFTER the transfer window), and probably wants to put his own stamp on the staff he wants to move forward with, with a eye on the next window. It's not like whoever comes in will have zero idea what's going on.

There's absolutely nothing to substantiate this.

It is because it is Spurs and everything has to be a drama.

Maybe, just maybe, let’s see who gets the DoF role and what the restructuring looks like first, before we decide this can only be a bad thing.

Today has also underlined for me why it was utterly baffling not to have had questions on the hierarchy above Ange, be it Munn, Gabannini and (increasingly likely) a new DoF.
