Spors - allegedly happy with his global role and not prepared to leave.
Krosche - possibly Bayern bound. Did he comment on the links to us and declare he was happy at EF??
Stiedten - not heard much other than other English clubs also sniffing round him.
Pinto - went quiet, possibly around the time of the benfica investigation being announced.

Pinto - got allegations like Paratici surrounding him now, no chance he comes.

No, he didn't. ITKs hint that we are looking for a head of recruitment, not a DoF. Because Munn took a strategical part of the functions.

It’s a good bet this is one of the names JN wanted. He’s been linked to BM for a while now.

Thing is, no DoF worth their salt is going to come here and work with one arm tied around their back. It seems we want to bring in someone with a limited remit who won’t really be able to make any major decisions and instead give options to Munn and Levy.

Paul O Keefe stated it clearly. I don't remember who exactly, but a journalist in the replies stated he was hearing the same. No other evidences. On the other hand, it explains why we've been rejected many time so far. I've lost my faith we will land a DoF. Maybe in a year. When we are stuck between 8th and 14th places.

Edwards left last summer and they replaced him by promoting Julian Ward.

Thought it had been suggested we are looking more for a head of recruitment rather than all encompassing DoF, so maybe Stiedten is not a bad shout.

Can’t help to be a little envious of clubs who are run better than Spurs…I would bet the club trusted Klopp enough to solicit his input as to who he would prefer to work with as opposed to our more dictatorial approach…

And importantly, he was given a Mulligan of a season that was very disappointing, although they finished strongly in the league.

It's almost as if his previous efforts earned him some leeway and loyalty from the board and squad.

What's interesting is you'd think for someone who always tries to lowball for the best deal, a DoF with a strong track record would be appointment #1. If you can repeatedly save 10s of millions of euros by signing underappreciated players or unknown gems, seems like something he'd be all over.

He doesnt give anyone time. He's so reactive instead of proactive. Dof will be the scapegoat, along with the manager before he takes any responsibility. Look at his notes. There was a but or excuse after every mistake.
