We’ve had a really impressive string of windows. Will be tough going to match what we’ve achieved in the coming windows.

Pretty underwhelming when compared to Paratici's string of hits.
I agree. Hopefully with better data, more money, and being a bigger club the shopping list improves and the willingness of said targets to join us isn’t a problem.

Martinez a couple of seasons ago and Watkins on form at a stretch are the only ones I’d look at. Even then only as squad players to improve depth.

Isn't Lange named as Technical Director just a replacement for Gretar Steinsson , it's not the same job title as when Paratici was appointed Managing Director , Football and Munn's title is Chief Football Officer, exactly what do they all do. ?

Lange ---- Lange will have responsibility for recruitment, analytics and talent identification across our senior and academy teams.

Paratici ---- Fabio will be responsible for managing and developing the Club’s sporting operations at the Club, facilities and footballing infrastructure.

Munn --- We are delighted to announce the appointment of Scott Munn as Chief Football Officer. Scott will be joining the Club’s Board and will take charge of all footballing departments.

We have no idea constraints & limitation he was under at Villa.

Luis Campos , Monchi all these great sporting directors have all had their flop clubs and success clubs.

Certainly bit disappointed to lose Paratici, who I believe has to take lot of credit for revamping our current squad. But I am not going to write off Lange based on speculations and guess work

From what I have read i’m not particularly convinced. Hopefully he will step up at a bigger club tho. Time will tell, personally I would have much preferred we’d kept Gab but we have to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Presumably also involved in the appointment of Gerrard as manger.

And also Unai Emery who has turned them into a well run team.

“Pat will remain a consultant to the club”

Wise from Tottenham. Given his excellent back catalogue.

I don't really know how people can compare someone at a club who would have been relegated 3 years ago if not for a technical glitch to our club.

All teams will have a different remit on the types of players they sign etc. Villa are also a pretty good team nowadays, back playing European football.

There's nothing to suggest he would be signing villa level players at spurs
