Jumping the gun a bit, but after tonight's defeat Hodgson is surely going to be looking for a new job. Who would you like to see take over?

I can't think of too many obvious candidates that are available. Pelligrini is an obvious one, but I can also see the FA looking at Ranieri after his achievements at Leicester.

Nigel Farage? Knows nothing about anything, but he'd get the popular vote so that's all that matters.

Dunno if Hoddle is interested in managing again, he's got a great setup with his Academy and all his pundit work, i imagine he's quite comfortably well off enough to not put himself through that again.

Considering the English managers who are working and anywhere near what would be required, i'd pretty stumped - Pardew? His ship sailed, surely? But i genuinely can't think of any current English managers who would be even on a long list, let alone a short list.

Might as well go for Gareth Southgate, he's done a good job with the u21s. I'm not really hearing any realistic / inspiring (i.e. Pardew, Gary Neville) suggestions atm.

I was up for Brendan Rodgers. Thought he'd have been perfect for the current set of players we have in a way...despite being a massive plonker. I'd be willing to go in depth on defending that choice if less drunk. Anyhow as things stand the best choice, In all seriousness, is Eddie Howe.

I'd be perfectly happy to go foreign though and might prefer that, but right now I don't see who would be available or willing

We're screwed.
