It will. But that’s where we are now. I’m not saying we are going to get Rodgers, but people need to build a fucking bridge and get over the whole Poch thing.

I posted some pages back that we'd be as well to take a step back and bring in a coach who will build a side that played as a team not a bunch of individuals playing the game by numbers and postulated that Potter would be a good fit but that didn't go down well either. It appears nobody is good enough for this club according to many of us whichever way we come at it and that's why I say we need a reality check. The last thing any of us want is another manager based on their stature.
He's either the right fit for us or he isn't. Some think he's right for us, some don't.
Also backed up by Ossie in Leeds, Saturday night. He was waiting for the phone call and it never came.Didn't know this. Well... Well.. Not so well...
However I don’t think Joe Lewis would understand that as a lot of it is not easy to quantify.
I think there are just a lot of members using the site and many share very different ideas on what it is that we need.I posted some pages back that we'd be as well to take a step back and bring in a coach who will build a side that played as a team not a bunch of individuals playing the game by numbers and postulated that Potter would be a good fit but that didn't go down well either. Yup. They’ve agreed with Haringey to forgo one of the other 9 events. I’m assuming that booking an extra concert was done deliberately not in error. And they’re breaking that by hosting an extra Beyoncé date:
Spurs breach licence to host Beyonce concert
Tottenham Hotspur have breached their licence agreement after selling a fifth date for Beyonce's upcoming tour at the north London stadium.www.espn.co.uk
The diagnosing of highly successful people in their fields as absolute morons is quite a thing.
I think we’ll see John Kennedy staying at Celtic (current assistant) and if Ange comes here they’ll install Mason as his number two.
Yea fair point mate , my take would be that we need a huge rebuild, at Feyernoord he lost 3-4 of their best players last summer, rebuilt the squad and won them the league.Just curious as to what about Slot would lead you to believe that selling both of our best players would be a good thing? That's how we got 2 points from 8 games remember.
When you put it like that so true!To give Chelsea a free run at Pochettino and end up with Brendan Rodgers would be a clusterfuck of epic proportions.
So true!! Levy is a prime example of someone buying into their own hype - a few years ago, we were being hailed as one of the best run clubs in the premier league - that created a monster! He now truly believes he's invincible and is out of control because no one seems to challenge his shit decisions.truly impressive how Levy has managed to turn a club on the cusp of something great into this pile shit in just a few seasons.
Funny how people disagree with the notion of throwing away £100M is a bad thing...If Levy allows that - maybe he would be sacked...
Its not often a corporate executive can get away with throwing away a £100M asset for nothing.

If you think a new manager is going to have a tough time rebuilding without Kane, imagine trying to rebuild without Kane and any of the money you get from selling Kane.
That would be corporate negligence.
I mean we should absolutely be aiming higher after all the years of struggle to enable us to compete but I could see them working as a pair to be fair.I think we’ll see John Kennedy staying at Celtic (current assistant) and if Ange comes here they’ll install Mason as his number two.
Yes. This club really seems to excel at not putting its own people (on the footballing side of things at least) in the best possible position to succeed.I mean we should absolutely be aiming higher after all the years of struggle to enable us to compete but I could see them working as a pair to be fair.
I'm not sure you let a manager the fans adore and one whose they they were singing to go to a despised rival though and then appoint a near unknown from a farmers league.
The optics alone put him in a really difficult position and I'm not sure he would get any chance at all with the fans and the media.
This the disconnect.I think the issue is the club is such a mess that Kane is needed to steady the ship for the following season. If we were in better shape it might be easier to take the money and run.
Because that is levy’s area of expertise and football isn’t at allHow can people who have created a world class stadium and infrastructure get us into such a mess? I’m not even angry anymore, just sad.
