I wonder how unanimous the decision has to be. Even if Levy is the only one who wants Poch, which I’m not saying is the case because it sounds there is a real split in opinion, but if hypothetically he was I guess he could well still overrule everyone and appoint him.

On COYS they seem fairly convinced that Levy won't go for Poch FWIW.

Poch not the only one under consideration.

The Spurs hierarchy is split on whether to bring Pochettino back to the club and he is not the only coach under consideration if Conte does leave.
At the risk of sounding like old man shouting at clouds here

Who is this hierarchy exactly? Paratici is in no place to be deciding anything right now and the rest of the board have about as much football pedigree as my dog.

It's so frustrating. They keep getting it wrong over and over again and yet here we are with a bunch of accountants once again deciding on the most important position in the club.

Can also throw Gallardo into the mix as well. Fact is they can't agree on anything which is why we are where we are. Unlikely to be Poch too many against it.

very interesting name that. A manager extremely highly rated but never managed in Europe. Wild card.

I’m all for Poch coming back but I do feel like De Zebri could the better appointment.

However, as others have mentioned, I do worry about how his instant impact at Brighton is down to how the club is operated as a whole.

Poch would be safe hands, De Zebri would be a gamble.

Brighton looked fantastic this season under Potter before he left. Guy has done well to continue this but to me with Brighton how they are run and the good team they already are it feels risky but in the wrong way.

I’d rather Gallardo or Poch back personally.

The days of foreign unknown coaches coming to the PL and finding it too tough are long IMO.

The PL is already very continental now which is why players like Mac allister, Alvarez, Caceido, etc all adapt to it very quickly. Its the same for coaches as long as they are quite adaptable/progessive (De Zerbi,

I have no doubts Gallardo can bring his game here and football in Argentina has the intensity and aggression to work here as weve seen with others.

Same people who were using Potters name a year or so back 🤔
I don't think Potter was anything other than a consideration and perhaps the club reached out to test the waters and thats it.

I don't believe for one second we went in serious or he rejected us.

Scott Parker's name was mentioned too but again I think it was more of a 'keep an eye on him' situation
