Totally respect this is given in good faith but I'm going to say I am extremely sceptical. The new guy is in the building whilst the current guy is still employed and carrying out his duties? I very much think not. That's not how business is done. Levy can just as easily pop round Poch's house or meet at a discreet location to discuss whatever needs to be discussed.

Did anyone see square one, we should be back there soon or worse than square one if we reappoint Poch, as we are further behind in terms of squad strength than when he left.

FWIW we're sceptical too, but having had it from two places we thought we'd share it.
Yeah just feels unlikely they'd meet up at the training ground if there were some discussions going on. You'd have thought doing it somewhere else a bit more private and away from the players would make more sense. OTOH I've pretty much given up on this club making any fucking sense...

We are going to make the same mistake again, thinking the problem is the manager, and just take another trip on this horrendous cycle, aren't we?

The manager isn't the only problem but he part of the problem and whether anyone likes it or not the manager is always the easiest problem to change.

Absolutely. My reasoning behind that statement is Levy/ENIC thinking by bringing on a manager like Pochettino or Tuchel they'll be able to turn this ship around just because they will get more from this group. I think they will do that and neglect the much larger, more personally condemning reality in that they are part of the problem. The reality is our entire club needs a rework.

I think this is a masterclass of a leak, he's the one desperate to hire Poch but the leaks suggest it's not and so when he does eventually hire Poch, it looks like he has bowed to all this imaginary pressure to make everybody happy.

The footballing (and most important imo) side of the club needs come root and branch reform. Sadly that can only happen with new owners

Enrique, Glasner, Amorim the three names JPB says are likely to be on the shortlist.

As someone above has said, I'm not sure how close Paratici should be to this appointment, all things considered. Though I like the idea of Enrique a lot.

Enrique is arguably the perfect choice - renowned name with big club experience, has a progressive model of football which can compete with Pep, Arteta, De Zerbi etc and is unemployed

So would I tbf. Great football philosophy. But definitely concerns over his club football record (Barcelona aside)
It’s not too bad, roma was probably a failure but it was his first job, done a decent job at Vigo before joining Barca.
