I wonder if this does all but rule out candidates who are out of work right now so;
Poch
Gallardo
Enrique

All eggs in the Nagelsmann basket then with Slot second choice?

If I had to predict how this next 6 months goes, I think that Stellini does really well, wins lots of games, comes into contention, decides to leave anyway to manage a provincial club in Serie A. Meanwhile, the back pages (and this parish) are full of will he, won’t he Nagelsmann talk for months all based on rumour and no solid facts. It will turn out he’s signed a pre-agreement with Real Madrid. Paratici will exit shortly before Poch’s return. Despite some negative voices on the board about him, it won’t matter because Levy’s had it all planned out for months. Most of the fan base will be in accept/happy mode, and we’re collectively back on strings.

Interesting there’s no comment from Paratici, only Levy.
All of the recent statements for transfers and coaching updates have had comment from Paratici. Suspect he’s off too

No of course not. Enrique for instance who is Paratici's number one choice by sounds of it may say "I will join in summer"

My theory: Nagelsmann will only come if we finish in the top four. So all eggs are in that basket. If we fail to make top four we will turn to Poch. Who may have an offer from Real Madrid by then.

That’s not what I’m saying. I mean it’s important we have them signed and agreed to join us ASAP. I know it’ll be Stellini and Mason until the end of the season but that’s not to say we won’t appoint someone before then.
That's true and I hope that happens but I'll not hold my breath

It makes those candidates far less likely and Paratici’s proposals are all but redundant to be truthful.

It won’t be Enrique of that I can promise you

This is such a simplistic view of how he plays. If he was regarded as a defensive coach then there is no way PSG and Campos appoint him. He's never been married to a single system in his career and has always got the best out of what is available to him. That's how you win a title with Lille. At PSG he simply doesn't have the legs to play a high line, instead he's played a mid line to get the best out of his ageing, ball-playing centre halves. Plus having a front line that doesn't press and no real creative midfielder doesn't help with that. Instead he's found a way to get Messi involved more and he's flourished for the first time since joining them and Mbappe looks to be at home in this system too. It's gone a bit awry since the world cup but he's an incredibly versatile tactician. In stark contrast Poch was lost when we lost the ability to play pressing football. It was hard to even see a defined style in the last season. He then tried to dogmatically deploy the front-foot football that worked at Spurs when he joined PSG despite it being obvious from day one that it wouldn't work and was always going to end in disaster.

Playing good football is fine, but you have to be able to look at what you have and look at what isn't working and react accordingly. We don't have much evidence that Poch can do that.
Agree with the fact he’s adapted and is tactically versatile I just don’t think that he’s naturally a coach who wants to play a high press and high possession and brave creative exciting attacking football whereas as I said there are 11 realistic options available who do so I’d be disappointed if we end up with Galtier.

But I don’t think he’d play as negative boring stuff as Jose, Nuno and Conte and no doubting he’s a very good coach just think of our top two targets are him and nagglesman well they are very very different options so just smacks of a lack of a plan imo.
