Knowing Levy Sol Campbells probably in with a shout
Lol.
Levy: "What are your ideas on playing style Sol?"
Sol: "I am Sol Campbell".
Levy: "Ok. I do worry you may lack the requisite experience Sol"
Sol: "But I am Sol Campbell".
Etc

Really? Don't forget it takes 6-9 months to implement his style of play.

Well, maybe because a few players are still here from his time and he knows the working environment...so I'd expect him to be able implement things a bit quicker.

Scott has a lot of admirers apparently...
And is a Spurs fan supposedly. One would hope if we offered him a solid deal with a path to the first team then he would come. Personally would prefer him to Maddison who’s incredibly injury prone. Anyway, won’t get wrapped up in player talk in this thread. We need a new manager first!

Gallardo wouldn’t even be able to communicate with him. Isn’t his biggest red flag the fact he can’t speak English
He played in the US for a season and is currently studying English. He also speaks French so is obviously comfortable with different languages. I dont see him being any worse than Poch was when he first came to the UK, he might even be better.

Pretty sure reports were no English, that was actually a pretty big issue for pochettino and I’m glad he had learnt the language prior to us signing him

There’s a report posted a few pages back that he’s been studying English because he’s aware it could well be needed for his next job.

Whenever I’m sat with my head in my hands about our managerial strife, I console myself that at least we aren’t Watford

Out of the potential 1st 11, there is only Davies, Dier, Son & Kane (maybe Skipp, but he hardly played). When Poch took over, we were playing a style closer to what we are now, which is pretty much the complete opposite. In fact, we have been playing a brand of football that is far away from Poch's style for 3 years now.

For the article that @Ossie85 posted a few pages back (also link to the article below).

In English he can also interact, but not as fluently : he acquired the greatest knowledge of him in 2008, when he played for DC United in the United States. "He is now studying English because he knows that he may need it to lead abroad," acknowledged one of Gallardo's best friends.

Maddison's injury record isn't that bad at all. In the last 2 and 2/3 seasons, he has missed 17 league games out of a possible 101. Plus the fact that he can play RW. AM and CM in a 3, would be ideal for Gallardo, who like to mix his formations up.

It would be interesting to see if Alfie Devine got promoted if Gallardo came in too. He had looked better in the England youth teams than Alex Scott had prior to this season. Being greedy, would love us to sign Alex Scott and Maddison.

What I like about Poch is at least it's not a clean slate for these failing players. I imagine he'll want rid of Sanchez from the get go for example. A new manager might want to work with him first. Same for Winks, Lo Celso and Ndombele.

Agree Million, the likes of Dier, Davies etc were basically out of the door with Poch, before Levy dropped the axe on him. Wouldn't surprise me, if he came back and them 2 names were the first we hear to be offloaded in the summer.

12 Players used by Poch in his previous tenure will still be at the club if he joins in the summer.

Sorry, but that petrifies me and puts me right off the idea. Head over Heart please brain.
