I wouldn't worry about unifying the fan base, pretty much any new manager would do that.

Remember, 95% of the fan base were against hiring Nuno, then 1 interview where he said he would make us proud and 70% of our fans were teary eyed thinking he would be the next Poch, talking about how he played attacking football once with Valencia.
If a new manager looks into my eyes and tells me he's going to make me proud...I'm giving out on the first date! 😁😂

Sounds like a Paratici type manager…. More shit football, and managers who won’t even last 2 seasons.

Only thing I can see here is Paratici trying to keep himself in a job, and he won’t be able to work with an attack minded manager.
Tuchel isn’t my first choice but I do remember his Dortmund team being anything but boring, they were absolutely electrifying and he’s a pressing style manager so no way the football under him would be as boring as Conte & Jose , just my opinion.

That being said his Chelsea said weren’t setting the world on fire 🤔

I want us to have a plan not a name. We need a style of football, tbh I’m probably as guilty as anyone thinking we could compromise on this with a Conte or Jose. We can’t, firstly I don’t think the premier league allows it anymore and secondly we have to be true to ourselves as a club and our beliefs.

Levy you need a plan. Even if it means we start again and we have to lose Kane and Son. We can’t keep chasing our tail. We have some good young players to build on but, please no new contracts for Dier and Davies or anyone else that’s stayed to long.

Enrique and Tuchel (the two I've mentioned on here today) are the only two names I've personally heard. I'm sure there will be a shortlist with a good few names on, but they are the only two I've heard. That doesn't mean they are the top two choices, so don't bloody panic. Let's see what happens, Conte hasn't even gone yet, but it seems inevitable that it will happen pretty soon. I just don't see any point in sticking with Conte now until the end of the season, it literally benefits nobody. It's just strange times at the club. We have a DOF who is involved in this process, yet may not be with us in a couple of months for christ sake. Does it really matter who the next manager is?! Of course it doesn't! There are several on here who have somehow convinced themselves that a change in manager is going to all of a sudden change our fortune. Well yes we might see better football each week (something I'm desperate for also), but long term we will just be back in this exact position in 12-18 months with no silverware. The problem is at the top! Is Conte faultless, of course not, he's not getting anything out of this squad and the football is dire, but the real problem is at the top table and until that changes, welcome to groundhog day.

Haha yea exactly he did a phenomenal job, just their style of play wasn’t as easy on the eye as his Dortmund and PSG teams were but yea he’s clearly a very good manager, imo far better than Conte & Jose, he comprehensively had Conte’s number time and again against us about 4 games in a row.

For next season to play in a 4231:

1. New GK
2. New LCB
3. New starting LB
4. New Attacking Mid
5. Upgrade on Hojbjerg with more technical ability
6. Replacement for Kane
7. Replacement for Son (one of these is Richarlison
8. Pay for Kulusevski
9. Pay for Porro

It’s a lot to accomplish while bringing in a new manager/tactics.
Agree (strongly) with 1-4, but surely we have Bissouma & Sarr to offer good alternatives to PEH (5); we are unlikely to need to replace both Kane & Son (6 & 7), given, as you say, we already have Richy; and (8) & (9) are formalities for our finance guys.

There’s a really good bit in Roy Keane’s interview with Tommy Tiernan where he says that Alex Ferguson used to say to the players: “are you happy with the guy who is next to you”. Have a think about that question being asked in our dressing room. There would be a fair few nos.

There also a few on here that hear noises that don't exist, but each to their own.

I’m surprised De Zerbi isn’t doing better in the poll. His Brighton team are superb.

I’m probably:

1. Poch
2. De Zerbi
3. Postecoglou
4. Enrique
5. Tuchel

You all really think the Enrique who has had the pleasure of working with the fantastic Barcelona system and the Spanish system can just come and implement a totally different system of extreme possession based football with us? It doesn’t work like that be serious people

We don't need a Hojbjerg upgrade. Sarr, Skipp, Bissouma, Hojbjerg and Bentancur is a great set of midfielders for a double pivot in a 4-2-3-1. We don't need a LB either with Udogie imo (and even Reguilon). Agree on the rest.
