I think one thing that’s fills me with some optimism is that in theory there shouldn’t be too many managers who we could hire who would be more dour and negative and unlikeable and who play such boring rigid football than the previous 3.

I mean unless we are hiring Capello, surely the next sucker can’t actually make us even more depressed than these last 3 fuckers can they?!

Poch, Enrique, De Zerbi, Gallardo, Tuchel, Rogers, Frank, Celtic Manager etc

Ok Franks football isn’t ideal and Rogers can be a bit of a bell but even still on the whole any of those managers would bring us more positivity and excitement than we’ve had the last 3 years surely

Yeah it's very good on here overall but I won't have a poster calling me out as a bullshit merchant when I pass on info in good faith and the mods are very aware of where it comes from. Post has been reported anyway so hopefully something is done with it.

He is a good manager but is it down to him or the work Potter did beforehand?

100% agree. I’d sooner be looking at the guys behind the scenes at Brighton or Brentford to take care of the football side of things for us.

Least enthused I've ever been about a new manager search. Maybe because we've had 3 different managers in under 4 years but now just feels as though doesn't matter who it is, it will just unravel as usual.

On that basis, think I'd actually like to go with the guy who is most likely to come in and tell the likes of Dier and Davies they'll never play for the club under him, bit like Nuno did with Hart. Think Poch was pushing those two to the fringes towards the end of his reign so maybe he is the best option.
