Just no defensive manager anymore please. If there is anyone coming for the interview, they should simply do the following aptitude test:

2nd leg of CL, 1-0 down in aggregate and 1 man down, score tied at 0-0 with 7 minutes left + stoppage time, who do you bring on?
  1. Sanchez
  2. Danjuma
  3. Sarr
  4. Whiteman
Easy. Bring on Danjuma for Forster, get another attacker on the pitch

Kane moves back to play rush goalie, drawing on his keeper experience in Europe.

When do i start?

That Aussie ( I seriously can't spell his surname... so his the Aussie guy...no offence intended) is the new popular craze amongst some of our fan base.... basically who ever is doing wonders in a league somewhere or the PL for that matter... take your pic of managers doing well elsewhere and they a natural shoe in here.. Steven Gerrard, Brendan Rodgers 2 seasons back then we scratch our heads as to why the club has a scatter gun approach.
This is where doing due diligence and looking further into managerial careers. There's a strong correlation with Gerrard's success and Beale being his number 2. I live in Glasgow and have friends who are close at Ibrox and it was always well known that Beale was the architect of a lot of that success. Rodgers has always struggled making teams good defensively. Celtic had that much of the attack in the SPL it was irrelevant but in the CL they got annihilated.
Postecoglou has been on the Man City coaching radar and was recommended to Celtic. He took a dysfunctional Lennon team and has had had them playing excellent football. They were also very competitive in the CL and he definitely passes the test of improving players.
I'm not saying he's the answer but he's a better candidate than Gerrard and Rodgers

Good post 👍 but is Postecoglou the future ?? ... he's 57 right ? ... and he's only coached Celtic here in Europe as far as I know....

Might be the future for us. Even if very succesful he won’t be here for longer than 3-5 years (five year is a lot).

And he might be the future in the way he works. Very progressive in his style, playing wise as well as managing his squad wise.

Fair enough... If we don't want to go with Poch... I'm hoping we look to a more youthful exciting manager... but I guess age doesn't matter 😊

If it helps, Celtic fans were similarly dismissive but they love him now. They've scored 2.5 goals per game under him and are on track to break both the points and goals record this season in the SPL. It's rare you'd have a manager with both worldwide experience (from the Greek third tier to World Cups) AND the biggest job of his career being as he approaches 60. Not sure it'd be the perfect choice but it's definitely an interesting one.
