One of the questions was 0-0 or 5-5?

The main reason I'm leaning towards someone upcoming like Slot, Kompany, De Zerbi, etc over Enrique is simply cos of where Enrique's at in his career and his expectations of us as a club.
Enrique's a funny, charming guy but he's also very feisty. I find it very easy to imagine him getting thoroughly fucked off with Levy after about 12-18 months if we're not where he expects us to be and then storming out. The league is going to be very competitive next season and we'll have no guarantee of Europa, let alone CL qualification. It could very easily be a repeat of his stint at Roma where he finished 7th and left after a season.
While there's a higher chance of Slot, Kompany & co being outright disasters, I think they have a much bigger chance of building a bond with the fans and building something special longer term, Poch style. They'll also have more to lose and probably be more amenable to Levy's bullshit which, sadly, seems to be a necessary quality in a successful Spurs manager.
After the Conte and Jose debacles I'd rather we take that risk.
That would be Ange Postecoglou by a mile imo.I actually think one of the key characteristics of the next manager is that he’s an affable chap, good with the players, the media and the fans. I think his man management of everyone will be as important on an every day basis as his match day tactics. Whoever is best at that, is who we should go for.
Poch was part of that mismanagement with his inability to flex on players
U wot mate?!About 75 percent of their uni courses are taught in English. Most of them speak it better than the majority of people in this country.

Indeed. And I bet he also didn't say "De Jong or N'Jie, whatevs. Either is fine."This has become a forum fact but i am not convinced Poch said De Jong or nobody.
I agree, orgy is better than nothing, straight up debauchery on the pitch. He's the man for us and got me likeOne of the questions was 0-0 or 5-5?

Just me or I feel that this is hinting towards JN to Chelsea
Nagelsmann is one of the few candidates who can offer the prestige factor as well as the sort of football that people would want to see. Other than that, one would imagine that a lot of people just want someone who can offer pleasing football with a chance to build towards trophies - Daniel Levy's recent track record would suggest though that he still sees success as being via a big name coach.Perhaps the only issue I have with a manager like Slot is the pressure of the PL.
He will have a philosophy and a style and will be happy to build, but I’m not convinced he will have the time to do so. I simply cannot see us being happy to be floating around Euro qualification whilst we re-build and that could genuinely be the case (with any non-backed manager to be fair). The pressure on him at Feyenoord just isn’t the same.
Obviously with my background in German football I’m a little biased, but I would certainly prefer Nagelsmann for what he has achieved and the experience of dealing with the top echelons of football and the pressure that brings.
To me he didn’t even fail at Bayern and certainly no one I know who follows or is loosely related thinks it was a good move to sack him.
But I certainly get the impression from the ITK floating around that Nagelsmann isn’t really on the table for whatever reason (him wanting us or vice versa). Shame, because I think he would strike the balance between re-build and dealing with the immediate pressure.

Yeah I guess Nagelsmann is the only option available that's both 'upcoming' AND 'experienced/big name' while also playing good football. He knows what it takes to manage a European giant and play big CL games and high pressure derbies at the elite level, but is still part of the new school of tactical ideas and seen as a manager on an upward trajectory. If he was keen to come I'm positive he'd be number 1 on Levy's list.Nagelsmann is one of the few candidates who can offer the prestige factor as well as the sort of football that people would want to see. Oh totally - I don't think that many people are getting their hopes up.Yeah I guess Nagelsmann is the only option available that's both 'upcoming' AND 'experienced/big name' while also playing good football. However, I wonder if the fact that we'd very likely be a last resort choice for him will see both him and us look elsewhere. I'd rather have Slot sign for us next month if we're his number 1 pick and he's desperate to come, rather than waiting until mid-summer for Nagelsmann to be rejected by every other big club available like a bloke looking to pull at 4am in a nightclub and opting for us as we're the last one standing.
Feyenoord are 12 points ahead in the Dutch league with 5 games to play. They could secure the title this weekend if they win at home and Ajax fail to win at PSV. Otherwise, very likely to wrap it up weekend of 6-7 May. Let’s see if they survive beyond tonight in Europa League. But either way, if Slot is our preferred option (with Nagelsmann going to Chelsea) the reasons to keep that so secret may fade away relatively soon.
