Lol what a load of nonsense

First 90 seconds sounds like the truth i.e. Feyenord were looking for too much money. Which is disapointing because if he is the guy we want and we have identified him as the correct candidate after a 3 month search we should'nt be quibbling over a few million.

The last part sounds like utter b0llox. Slot using us for a contract. No chance.

We are already a laughing stock, we will be an even bigger one if we don't sign a decent manager

Has worked with Munn, plays high possession high intensity very pepesque football and is a likeable character.

Next best option / fit remaining mate.
Just doesn't excite me but if turns out to be him then ill do the required mental gymnastics to convince myself he is perfect like I always do 😅

Mr Daniel Levy was very confident he had both Nagelsmann and Slot nailed. He thought Slot was just ironing out details. I knew what his demands were. And just sensed it would get f**cked up as usual. Please accept that he is getting this very feking wrong.
No point trying to justify it mate. I've been very vocal all along that Slot wanted to come but already a few comments on here laughing at what I've said because apparently now he was never interested. I'll say it one last time for everyone, SLOT WAS VERY KEEN ON JOINING US!

Amorim or Glasner and there will be full on revolt. Surely Levy can read the room and know we need an attack minded manager.

Nothings certain with Tottenham . What if I was to say he wanted to sell the big boys to recreate the next team and levy said no ! Unfourtanlty if someone wants to come here it doesn’t mean they will always come . Visions have to align . Levy’s seems to have a different vision to every manager out there currently.

I’m actually not as against that scenario as I thought. Trying to picture Spurs without Kane I do wonder where our game changers are. Son, his form has dropped off so much this year I actually could see that maybe it is time. However, a front line refresh, on the assumption we could get a DoF and Manager on the same page, and target young hungry players with high potential who actually suit our league and potential playing style would actually feel like a serious reboot.

Levy will not pay a 13million release cause for Amorim.

He'll try bargain with a few custard tarts or something.

Can't see that happen either, he's a bit underwhelming.

Love a Pastel de Nata.

Haha 😂 wouldn’t rule it out mate

Mason would be beyond underwhelming after this interim stint. He’s refreshingly honest in his press conferences, and does appear to want to try and change things, but has come across massively out of his depth tactically at this point in his career. It would feel like full acknowledgment of us merrily sliding back to mid table obscurity.

The odd one for me is Ange Postecoglou, I just don’t get the love in. Yes, he’s done well in the SPL, but so did Neil Lennon, Walter Smith, Alex Mcleish and Steven Gerrard. He’s not on my list of favourites for the job.

Has there been any further clues at who/what the smokescreen Herc was referring to? If Slot was the smokescreen for someone Herc thinks would be a nice surprise, then all not lost.

There won't though. The results will be bad, they'll get fired and we'll see each other back in this thread in a few months time. There will never be a revolt

I think that is looking more and more like optimism.

At least to me it looked like we were happy to flirt with others but go nowhere whilst we were fully in on Slot.

Now that Slot’s a no go probably back to square one just with everyone we toyed with pissed off that we weren’t serious last time we spoke to them.

This is a club who didn’t understand the footballing rules and had to suddenly release Doherty rather than loan him out. We’re an utter shambles!!

say is.........@hercules said something about a smoke screen........maybe its all to do with that and Slot wasn't out first choice at all?

i mean, he deffo was our 1st choice - all the reliable reports & itks were saying he was our 1st choice, something has obvs happened in talks for him to do a 180, either he played us for a new contract or he was so disappointed with the talks he thought fuck that! Either way, it’s shocking!

Saturday is going to be make or break. Another loss and surely the pressure will ramp up on Levy to pucker up and try to get Nagelsmann and his preferred DoF, just to try and calm the negativity.
Seems like negotiating a release is going to be the issue for Levy, so it’s free agents. Gallardo, Glasner, Potter or Rodgers. Nagelsmann not so much until Bayern decide what they are doing.
