Taking 69 days to appoint a manager, whilst still showing little to no evidence of a clear plan is fairly good "information".
Let's take stock of this, the fact that our no1 player and club talisman is entering his final year of his contract with us, no DOF to plan for the summer's acquisitions, a chairman who insists on meddling in everything that happens on and off the pitch to the detriment of the club, these are just a few tidbits of "information" we need to know that the outlook is pretty bleak at the minute.
The information is there if you choose to see it.
Every tidbit of information is agenda driven. And with the greatest respect that is everything we hear from ITK, journalists etc... unless any of us are sat in internal meetings none of us know anything.
There could be a plan that we're working our way through. We still have a recruitment team, we're still clearly speaking to targets. All this 'meddling' we hear that Levy does is either here nor there. No one really knows if he meddles that much. He's just an easy pantomime villain when we're going through a negative patch and then gets called 'lucky' when we go through a positive period.
Yes we haven't got a manager but ffs the season only last last weekend. Surely it's more important we get the right fit than just the easiest and quickest person to appoint. It seems to me that because we are apparently appointing a manager that a lot on here don't want that is proving that there has been no plan. Again, that is just pure conjecture. People filling in the gaps in the most negative way possible. We've heard that we have 4 options - Slot, Amorim, Enrique, Ange. Surely if we appoint one of them it shows some sort of plan? These names have been pretty consistent for weeks.
Anyway i'm not going to change anyones mind. If you want to continue to wallow in hopelessness and misery that's your prerogative. Summer is here now. I plan to disengage from it all for a while and enjoy my life.
