All we can do boys and girls is strap in and hopefully enjoy the ride. I’m personally feeling a level of optimism that has been missing for quite a while…..that may be because my optimism ‘bar’ is set lower than a snakes belly but I’m quite looking forward to the journey…

If only we had a player with a nickname that sounds like an heroic bush kangaroo. Imagine the jokes we could make.

This is where we are. Some will like it. Some won’t. All of us will hate the embarrassing and shameful way we got here and that did little other than to prove unequivocally that the board and the person that run the club are inept.

Still, we all now have a responsibility to give him the best welcome. To get behind him and to let him work. None of us will win any prizes or points for ‘thinking he was shit for longer than you ’ if it all does go to pot. So put the energy into hoping for the best and supporting him and the team.

Postecoglou is the kind of hiring I like. Like Pochettino (spits) he seems to be about coaching people, and character, more than just footballers. Very much coming in to "build" something. The two ever present challenges however are Levy and the supporters. The former in terms of how quickly Ange will get fed up with him. And the latter with how impatient they can be.

This is a mid table squad, albeit one with a World Class centre forward (at least for another season), and for the most part he's going to have to make do. Levy will be expecting him to use his methods to improve the available players (because he never learns), and the fanbase will be anticipating attacking football and winning a lot. He's allegedly getting a 2 year contract, but I expect it to be that long before we start bearing the fruit of his methods.

If he's the one, then I'm behind him, as ever. I just hope Levy is.

I really like the style of this guy and I've read a lot of positive stuff about him from those he's worked with. I think he could be great for us.
My worry is that should he start indifferently (and he's said that his first weeks are often rocky) our fans will be booing and baying pretty quickly and the board might not give him the patience he deserves. People have said they'll give him time, but what happens after the third defeat at home when we're eleventh at Christmas?

I hope Spurs PR machine make a lot of noise about it if this is the case.

I'm really excited by Ange. The one concern I have is if the players / fans think he was way down on the list then he may not get the buy-in or time he needs.
Having seen his half time rant, do you think any of our current squad are brave enough?!

Me thinks not!! 😂

I'm sold aswell. Doesn't look like he'll take any shit and I'm looking forward to some attacking football. Bar was really low this time and just hope he gets after the players early.
