Explain what being built for the prem is?
Take it you didn't read this (a few posts up).Not having knees made of glass.
Maddison is a player who is perma crockedI just don’t see why we wouldn’t try for someone like Maddison (or why Conte rejected him in the summer) if this is the case. Maddison is way better technically than Zaniolo, ball striking on both feet is 10x better. To be honest he’s just a better player than Zaniolo who I’m personally not a fan of. I’ll be disappointed if it’s a permanent or a loan with an obligation particularly as I don’t see Conte here next season.
104 games and he’s scored 12 goals and 6 assists. He’s all show with no end product looking at his stats. Bonkers if you ask me. ?
Sure. But those figures are based over 4 seasons. His dribbling and speed look good but end product Is poor. Not like Conte is getting more out of the rest of the team so ???From what has been reported Conte believes he can get more out of him as he isn't being used correct(or something along those lines)
I wonder why it would be hard to sack him?
Got like what? 5 months left of pay?.
Well the kid must certainly have a lot of self belief if he's leaving the Serie A champions because he can't get a look in by the age of 16-17.Conte had no faith in Gnonto, player left Inter due to Conte's lack of interest in him
That would be a superb window if we do - comparable to last January.Personally I really want Zaniolo. If you actually look at him and the qualities he has, you can see that if used as Conte believes he should be, then he could be a fantastic addition. I do think this is one we will get over the line. In fact, I think we will get both Zaniolo and Porro.
Something that has been discussed a lot on this thread already, it's really not the end of the world!
ITK’s being told it will be at the ‘end of the window’……..could that be takeover/investment related? If so, we could hear something on that front next week.
The striker's agents born in 1999 are already at work to find offers
My opinion of this transfer is entirely dependent on where he ends up.
- If he ends up at Arsenal - it is clear evidence of Levy and Paratici yet again being idle and tight with funds by failing to back their man by bringing in the world class player that Conte wanted.
- If he ends up at West Ham - it's a bullet dodged as he's clearly injury prone, too slow for the Premier League and doesn't have enough end product anyway.
- If he ends up here - it's a great signing and proves that Levy is changing his ways by backing the manager after all. Until he breaks down with an inevitable injury or suffers a loss of form, at which point it's actually another example of Levy taking the cheap, easy option on a player that Roma wanted to get rid of instead of pushing the boat out for Bellingham who was Conte's real first choice.
