TottiAnd capello and manzini
Yeah weirdly he has been quite a lot. This I could live with. My concern is the injuries but on loan reduces the risk.
Has Ndombele been linked with a move to Roma? I can't see Jose being interested.
He says in 2 years it should be back to normal. (It's been almost 2 years and the video is over a year old.) Also talks about a phobia of playing and injuring it again which, while this happens with some people, hasn't happened to Zaniolo as he's just played 42 games.
Tbf he's done both knees. That's more than concerningHe missed four league games last season through injury. One for his Hip flexor 2 for separate muscle issues and one through illness. This permanently injured tag is bollocks. He's had a long term absence previously due to ACL problems just like Virgil Van Dijk has. I doubt anyone would be shouting don't sign VVD if we put 100mil down on the table due to an injury he had 2 years ago.
It's a concern yes but that would be taken into account.
Mate if we all just sit there and clap every decision the club and manager makes then we may aswell just close the forum down because all debate is stifled.
You can not like a player the club are looking to sign, be underwhelmed whatever, and at the same time support the player if he does come in.
For me at least, any signing we make is generally exciting. When you look at some PL clubs not even making a single signing this summer, you realise how lucky we are, truly. So it's all relative. Would I be excited if we were to bring in Zaniolo, ultimately yes? I think all of us get excited by any signing really, but compared to other targets we've been linked with, it doesn't at first glance seem the best option we have been linked with, at least to some of us.
Ok but why would Roma accommodate us in that way? If they want to sell or need the money that's not a good deal for them.At the right price I think I'd take the risk, but a paid two year loan with an option at the end sounds like a good compromise.
Yeah but again he's played a full season since his return, and people are failing to acknowledge this by calling him "perma-crocked" which just isn't true. I agree that it has to be taken into consideration, but my point is that it is being blown out of proportion because(imo at least) he's not James Madison. As long as the deal reflects the concern I'm more than happy to take the risk being as Conte really believes he can turn him into a top performer.Tbf he's done both knees. That's more than concerning
Because of Jose. Remember how much of a git he can be?Ok but why would Roma accommodate us in that way? If they want to sell or need the money that's not a good deal for them.
If we loan him it feels like deals we've done before whereby we pay a larger loan fee to get around sell on percentages owed to Inter in this case
I haven't seen that. Those that don't rate him are saying so and those that are worried by two ACLs are saying so. Likewise those that just say trust Conte are saying so.It's fine to give a personal opinion on a potential signing. I do it myself.
But the outpouring of negativity for Zaniolo has been truly overboard. All because everyone has their heart set on Maddison - even though most ITKs have said Leicester aren't selling.
If you have a manager who has put together title winning squads, has shown he knows the qualities players require to thrive in his system, and raise the level of the team, i'm happy to defer to his judgement. If the signing fails yes we can look for reasons why. But some of the comments I've read since we've been linked just read like spoilt brats not getting their own way.
What’s up?And (yet) another thing.
People are worried about his injury record. Fine. But i'm sure any deal will reflect any concerns, if indeed there are any. Then we have people worrying about his attitude. Largely guesswork, for all we know that might have been resolved. Finally, if Conte think he can manage him and by that I mean coach and mentor him in such a way as to maximise his undoubted talent, then why not?
ANY transfer carries a risk. This one maybe a little more so but that's being over dramatised in the fight to be 'right'. Fucking hell, it might not work, it might be a roaring success, if Conte thinks there's a player in there and can get it out of him, if the player will improve the squad, then what's the problem? That it won't work? Given the recent successes they've had have they not earned the right?
If we spend a few quid on him it's a 'risk' that's seen as acceptable by the club. It won't break us. Worry not about the finances, leave that to those who actually know. You'll still get your pocket money at the end of the week
Haha, this sensible posting shizzle isn't for me, you don't deserve it
Your mums...........ahhhhh that's better
I think the rules have since changedKulu has a 2 year loan, option at end of 1 with a lower price than year 2
ACL isn't the career ender it used to be.Yeah but again he's played a full season since his return, and people are failing to acknowledge this by calling him "perma-crocked" which just isn't true. Pursue?A loan with an option is good because if it doesn’t work out it would allow us to peruse Maddison further down the line for a cheaper fee.
He missed 11 games last season, for seven different reasons - one of which was 'unknown'. If that's not a red flag then I don't know what is.Yeah but again he's played a full season since his return, and people are failing to acknowledge this by calling him "perma-crocked" which just isn't true. I agree that it has to be taken into consideration, but my point is that it is being blown out of proportion because(imo at least) he's not James Madison. I mentioned before, but Paratici has been a massive fan of his for years. Wanted him at Juve. So its a fairly good bet they both know him inside out.I think we all just have to give Paratici and Conte the benefit of any doubt here. No-one knows Italian football like Paratici, so we can be sure he has been well scouted and we have done our due dilligence
Some great goals and assists in here
