I think generally when he plays he offers decent energy he will lose the ball as he runs with the ball more than others in the side which does open spaces and obviously that doesn't always come off. He never ever was or will be a playmaker that's not his role but his an honest player.

Zaniolo not for me worth a punt at a fraction of what they want but I don't see it - having someone who can come in off the line makes sense I would prefer someone who moves the ball rather than a dribbler

To the other point, It’s less a shot at Moura and more at the fact that I think we need some sort of replacement for the Lo Celso/N’Dombele/Gil sized hole in the squad. Yes we didn’t have them post January but squad building wise, another option who helps us create chances and score goals is necessary. With the 5 sub rule we’ve got to have multiple looks and multiple options. If Richy/Moura is all we have off the bench for CL+PL across 55+ matches this season I think we are too thin.

Plus Kane and especially Son are better with a week’s rest. Just because we can start KSK in 45 matches doesn’t mean we should.

If I’m honest I’d fear dier injured more. We don’t have cover for him really whereas Sanchez was fine in the run in.

I think we need another centre back in ideally. Plus another attacker. Probably quite hard to get them to come in as squad players though unless they’re a downgrade on quality.

Agreed, we all know son in particular goes to shit when he’s tired and can be awful. So having proper adequate rotation for our front 3 will mean keeping them fresh. We play West Ham after a game on the weekend, so having the right rotation for that game could be critical to winning.
