Can anyone give me some hints for parking on Saturday? My first NLD away and don't have a fcking clue where to park. Also note I'm coming from Kent and will be driving a car with a Spurs badge in the back window so not too close!

Preferably want a park and short train journey to the ground?

Cheers

Nowhere to park around the ground. You could find a place in Wood Green/Ally Pally area and get the tube to Finsbury Park.... Probably better to park at Cockfosters though as your car will be less likely to get towed away

As you`re coming from Kent Tottenham Hale might be your best bet then 2 stops to Finsbury Park or 3 to Highbury and Islington and a walk either way.

I usually park at Islington Fire station. Handy. :)

If I didn't have that luxury, i'd park up as if I were going to a home game and catch a bus from the High Road.

Cheers for the help. Just looking at my route in to London and I drive past Blackhorse Road and Tottenham Hale.

Just a question, the shopping area opposite Tottenham Hale, Asda, Burger King, Next, M&S etc, am I safe to park in there during the game?

you could get a ticket. park on a residential street near bruce grove or the police station. walk back to seven sisters and get public transport

You must be mad driving in, but if you must just drive to the o2 and get the tube from there. The blackwall tunnel southbound is a nightmare at the best of times, but its even worse at the time you intend to drive home.
So if you use the big carpark at the o2 and get the tube from there you will save yourself untold hassle getting home.

Good lord!
Even my wife, an American said, "Fool, park somewhere else and take the tube!"
The 02 suggestion is good enough...but get there @9.45, so as you can allow yourself a can or two on the train, a stop-off for a couple more, and then a quick tube to either A*****l station or Finsbury Park (the former will bring back memories of the days the N***H Bank was ours!)...I once walked back to Angel Station, but that was last year after the 4-4 and I was so beery and happy that it seemd like a 10 minute stroll as we teased and taunted the downtrodden filth around us...enjoy the day mate, had to give up my ticket this year as I will be in NY working...

I drive the Blackwall Tunnel route every game and rarely have any problems. Occasionally get caught up for say 10mins of traffic but hardly any more than that.

I also really hate public transport and prefer to be in the car in comfort so although the o2 looks good, the train will take a good 45mins wont it?

Its up to you mate, as a london cabbie who lives in Kent myself i can assure you if the tunnel gets banged up(often does) your wait to get through can be a nightmare.
Personally i like to take the strain out of the journey, good luck whatever you do mate.

You'll be pushed to find a space there on a Saturday in the first place, and in the second you could end up being clamped. The car park at Tottenham Hale station's a decent size.
