It looks like Robert Huth will be banned for Stokes game v us on Saturday.
Hell of a punch and although it was to a spammer completely wrong.
Same punishment as the Defoe pussy foot?

True that. Horrendous at Boro. I couldn't believe anyone was prepared to actualy spend money on him. I kind of assumed they got Tuncay so cheap because Boro forced them into taking Huth, too. :wink:

Dirty **** (and I don't use that word often). Upson got a boot to the head earlier in the game and was bleeding from the head - had to have stitches. Huth punch (or shacked hard - for all the difference it makes) him on that exact spot and opened it up. I'm sure it was a premeditated and sly attempt to take a real threat out of the mix for the free kick (Upson scored with his head earlier in the game despite the head injury). He was slow sly that none of the spammers players seemed to know who did it but if they had I think the game would have descended into a brawl.

It was one of the most cynically calculated actions I've ever seen it top level football and I hope they throw the book at him.

Thank fook the FA seem, FINALLY, to actually be using retrospective action. Shame that they didn't deem it worthy on the Roy Carroll lying at Old Trafford incident and many, many, many others over the years. Better late than never you bunch of f*ckwits

On another note, have any pro footballers ever been in a real fight (apart from Woodgate and Bowyer?). Seriously if you went down as easily as this lot do after a little slap you'd expect to get your face kicked to pieces. Actually might explain Darren Fletcher's appearance....
