To me it sounds like you are trying to force events to fit into your theory. I also think that some, not necessarily you, are a bit pissed off with the good start as it doesn't go well with the overall panic attack that was the final days of the TW.Hmm! To me it sounds like Poch is a little bit irked by the non event summer window and has now decided that the whole squad, to a man, must move up a level and prove themselves this season, put up or ship out! In previous seasons he's a bit generous with them, but this season he's going to be demanding of them. What that means for next summer if we don't win anything or don't make any true challenges for trophies remains to be seen, but I reckon if the team doesn't fulfil it's promise and the lack of signings proves to be a hindrance to his own ambitions, I think he'll be off and that seems to be reflected in his tone. I'm surprised if anyone can correlate the first two results to a lack of transfer action on the summer, whichever way those results had gone . We certainly have a team capable of dealing with Newcastle and Fulham and we showed that. If our lack of transfers haunts us then it will do so over the course of the season when we pick up injuries and players get tired, not based on two games. To me it sounds like you are trying to force events to fit into your theory. To me it looks like we have the best TEAM, not SQUAD, in the league.

I think City have the best squad. My post referred to team spirit and understanding. I don't think City trump us on that.Definitely not pissed off, but very pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't go as far as saying we have the best team, Citeh are by far, but for us so far so good. The real test comes Monday week against a very humpy Man Ure, let's see how we get on there!
