No, I only tend to hear more minor ones we are looking into (Howson, Obertan) and admissions (and sometimes opinions) of when stories are incorrect.

Ronaldinho and Eto are just ridiculous barter tools in the Berbatov issue, if anything. Albelda is probably the most likely Valencia one, but that wouldn't be a major signing.

Much of my general La Liga info comes from the Guardian's Sid Lowe who is an old uni mate.

I don't know, really. We know Berbatov can cut in in the Premiership. How many big-name players in recent years have moved to the PL and taken at least a year to adapt? A fair few.


A huge name though, it has to be said. Bigger than Sheva for Chelsea, IMO.
