Didn’t judge the comments in anyway. It may be a slug if we allow it to, be. We should be good enough to control the game. No game is easy but all games are winnable.we are a good side we just need to be ready and up for it.
Especially if it's played at
snail's pace

Forrest playing tonight in early rounds of Carabo cup away to Grimsby.

Probably a massively changed team but be interesting to see who they line up with.

Ofcourse three points first and foremost but would also like a bit of a convincing performance. They will come out all guns blazing this being against the biggest team they play so far this season and at 4.30pm with a raucous crowd behind them.

This game reminds me of three games against them all for different reasons. One was the FA Cup final ofcourse, the other was when it was proper snowing over there, a white pitch pretty much (not sure if it got abandoned actually cant really remember) and the other was at WHL - think it was a penalty shoot out FA Cup - think we lost.

Hope we put them to the erm... ahem... sword.

I think Sanchez and Sess will start this one, and Conte will think that's enough changes.
Pure guesswork BTW, probably wrong ??

Well, as they have just bought 50 players there is simply no way of knowing what their best XI is yet anyway ?

I can remember attending WHL a live TV (test ) match on a Sunday for ITV... 2 each was the score (I may need correcting).

Gobsmacked that there aren't more investigative stories about Forest's owner in England. This one by Alexander Clapp is the only one I've found, but it only describes the tip of the iceberg.

I absolutely hate forest. Apart from the cup final they felt like one of our bogey teams growing up. I remember Lee Chapman banging a couple in against us when I was a kid and have never liked them since. Hope we fucking smash them.

For some reason I'm more concerned about this fixture than I was about the Chelsea game.

Newly promoted team, early in the season, at their place. Gives me the heebeegeebees.
I actually feel significantly more confident about this than any of the other fixtures we've had. West Ham, who have been shite, could've scored about 5 against them when they played and Newcastle made them look terrible.

They'll be up for it and the keeper's been in great form, but I think this is a very good time to play them. They won't have the mad atmosphere from the first home game, while they're also still trying to bed in, literally, about 18 players and are very much a disjointed team in transition.

I think we'll comfortably win by at least 2 goals.

Yes, the fact they've bought so many players should hopefully mean they're still trying to remember each others names, let alone display any coherent tactical philosophy.

But still, I don't like the newly promoted sides away from home.

Literally? With spades and compost, in a corner of the trading ground, in the middle of a hosepipe ban? Madness.

Not so sure about that, if my daughters partner & his family are anything to go by, it could be even madder!!!

If all are fit team should pick itself at the moment:

Lloris

Emerson

Romero
Dier
Davies

Perisic

PEH
Bentancur

Kulu
Kane
Son

Richy to get decent minutes from the bench.

Lenglet, Bissouma and Richy will start to get starts once we have 2 games a week rolling round.

This won’t be an easy game but it’s the one I’m most confident about so far.

0-2 Spurs : Kulu and Sonny.

Always had a soft spot for Forest too

The only one time I didn't like them was when Ian Woan used to turn world class against us lol
Did like Ian Woan though. What a name. I remember back then, English football not really being this big around here yet, reading the team sheets with religious affection, marveling at all the names, and for some reason this one has struck me. Never seen him play. Ian Ormondroyd was another one.

Anyway, glad to have Forest back in the PL, hope they will stay for a while - them being around makes a nice change to the likes of Watford/Fulham/Norwich forwver going up and down. Having won their first PL home game after so many years in the doldrums will mean they´ll be up for it and the place rocking, but quality-wise it should be a no-brainer really, no disrespect. 3-1 Spurs, Richarlison netting his first goal in his first start and another Bentancur masterclass in midfield. Also hoping to see more of Bissouma. Can´t wait for this one!

That really starts this weekend.

I would not be shocked to see Richarlson in for Son, so that Son is rested for West Ham on Wednesday.

I am expecting Sess back in a LWB, and maybe Doherty is fit enough for a start at RWB.
