Any idea why they took so long for the offside var review? It was so weird looking at 3 players well offside and waiting for slow motion and lines to be drawn. So embarrassing for our game that.

Oh man that drove me nuts, it was absolutely blatant but they're terrified of calling anything without putting a line in now after the Liverpool game. Took them longer to call an easy offside than the bloody red card!

Well that was a lot harder than it should have been. A rather disappointing performance, except maybe after we went down to 10 men. I thought that after a bright start we allowed Forest to bully us and we lost all our rhythm.

Which brings me to the referee who was abysmal. Did he think he was officiating an Australian Rules game? How did Yates not get a yellow card, if only for twice asking for a yellow card for one of our players. We got hacked all over place yet we ended up with 4 yellows and a(deserved) red. I believe Son got a yellow for being dragged down by Yates(who else) in the penalty area at a corner kick.
Three points but once again at a huge cost ; Johnson off with concussion , Udoggie out for the next game and Bissouma out for 4 games - an insane needless dangerous tackle.
That’s 4 red cards and 46 yellows this season. Indiscipline is costing us and needs to reined in.
Personally when Johnson went off I’d have brought on Emerson and put Porro at RW. As it was Skipp played well especially when we went down to 10 men.

We have to be able to win ugly under Ange as well... we did that yesterday... we took our chances (ruthless) and the defence was immense... Davies, Vicario... and no yellow for Romero in such physical game is progress for him 👍 ...

But how on earth did Forest get away with less yellow's than us ?? ... and only at the end of the game ?? ... Baffling 🤷‍♂️

We are clearly missing Bentancur, Maddison and Van de Ven to keep us calm and controlled in games against oppositions who are trying to bully us.

Disappointing team performance but another win. Outstanding performance by Kuluveski and Davies but many of the rest seemed slightly below par. Great for Richarlson he kept up his goal scoring with a lovely goal. Boss deservedly sent off. He needs to sort himself out.

Agree... but we can't be class every game. Especially with all the injurues we have.. the important thing is that we were able to grind out a win... and also to get a clean sheet... we didn't do that against WH and Villa 🤷‍♂️

OK so we scraped thru vs Forest. We can concentrate on the result, to make us feel better but the performance spoke clearly.

We are going to have some unpleasant matches coming up with our makeshift team in the next 8 weeks imo. Plenty of effort, but the defence looks wobbly to me, best chances not taken were Forests.
Some consolation in how the 10 men kept solid ...did our high line move a smidge backward in a nod to defensive needs...or was I dreaming ?

People like nice tidy certainties and the 'Biss stopped being brilliant cos of Luton red' is an example. Close Biss watchers know that his form dipped before that.

We see him making the same press breaking moves these days with the issue that they no longer come off. Ange is manager so he's told to keep trying, but what's happening is he's losing possession in dangerous areas now. He's probably as baffled as to why as the rest of us....and the frustration led to a dumb red card.

Mad season we're having with missing players, not seen anything like it at Spurs. Loss of Bents particularly painful. Top 4 is going to be a struggle without so many great players imo.

Wow what an incredibly negative post give the football we’ve been playing.

I think we’re playing some of the best football I can remember watching at Spurs and despite the injuries and poor results recently we’re now just 3 points behind title candidates Arsenal.

We were fine yesterday. Enjoy the moment.

He was stupid but it wasnt a clear red, it was a glancing boot but the Red player was always going to make the most of it. I'm happy to be daft.......
It's likely a red. More so than Romero's v Chelsea which wasn't even a challenge. The problem I (and I expect many others) have is that other players in other teams have got away with worse or similar without the same consequences. At a time when we're already injury ravaged.

If the officials are remotely consistent then Yates doesn't stay on the pitch either yesterday and that's what we're all frustrated with....

They aren't mutually exclusive. Bissouma put in a terrible challenge and was rightfully sent off. Forest players kicked lumps out of us all game and got their first yellow in the 82nd minute when we are already down to 10.

It's hardly a deterrent playing for 8 more mins having to be careful.
I checked the stats on 80 mins. Forest 12 fouls us 10, them no cards, us 4 yellows & a red. No arguments with the red but the yellows were soft compared to what Forest were allowed to get away with.

Early on gibbs-white knocked the ball away when vicario was going to take a quick free kick and right under the refs eyes.
I knew then we would be on the receiving end of refs decisions.
As for Yates not getting a card, amazing he did not get a yellow for an accumulation of fouls in the first 30 mins.

Also at least half a dozen fouls that weren’t called on them that should of been imo. Also felt like they were allowed to go through the back of our players or follow through after the tackle if they got some of the ball, which hasn’t been consistent with with previous games we’ve been penalised in. We’ve had some very dodgy refereeing this season.

I agree with all of that. Skipp was moved to a defensive position once we went down to 10 which helped him.
I thought a few years ago that the referees were poor but I owe the old lot an apology as this new batch are the worst I’ve ever seen.
How Yates wasn’t booked for waving an imaginary yellow card is beyond me.
We may not have been great today but I think the tactic of standing off is and allowing us to then beat the press nullified us a bit, so credit to Forest. Even when we lost a couple in a row, I was still excited and couldn’t wait for the next match. What a difference Ange has made
