my understanding is that you need 5 delegates to back you. I doubt these superstar footballers with no business acumen will get that support.

Hmm, all these randoms are probably on Blatter's pay role.
The more the competition is watered down and confusing, the more likely it is Blatter stays in power.

I'm surprised Sven hasn't thrown he hat in - he normally has 'auto apply to all jobs' set on

"All challangers must pass an anti corruption test":ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Of course Blatter doesnt though. He's the mist corrupt one there and lets it all run rampant under him.

Figo doesn't look like he can figure out anything. He doesn't have any charisma either.

Won't the corrupt just pay and vote to keep the corrupt in.

Blatter will stay until he dies and be replaced by someone equally as corrupt.

They were saying on Football Weekly that Blatter needs 105 votes to win and is pretty much assured of 102 from Asia and Africa.

good that those with actual football experience are starting to get involved. Blatter was booed by the Aussie crowd at the Asia Cup final yesterday. Hopefully he'll be gone, but it's still unlikely because there are loads of countries who feel they 'owe' him for bringing the World Cup to Africa and others with their noses in the same trough.

Thats if he gets all of the votes from asia and africa.

I cant see him getting all of them but he could get a huge chunk. Also one of the candidates is from the middle east so its likely he will take a chunk of those votes and unlikely the more developed footballing nations will vote for them, Japan, South Korea, Australia and etc.
