Thank you Robbie Keane
Some wonderfull years, 100+ goals for the club and a leader on the pitch through some horrible times for the club.
The joy and ecstasy on your face after the CC win over chelsea will live with me for a long time - you have been a legend for this club, and once again i thank you !!!

I was totally heartbroken when he went to Pool - could hardly bear to see the pics of him standing with the fat waiter. It's not been the same since he came back but back in the day he was our best player and the beauty of his partnership with Berbatov will live long in the heart. As will his standing there, arms outstretched to us at Wembley after the CC Cup Final v Chelsea.

Good luck Robbie, thanks for the early days - you were once a legend.

We shouldn't be doing West Ham any favours really, but if he hits great form we could snatch him back

You know what....legend....whatever

The sad fucking fact is that

1) I showed him respect (unlike some) when he left for Pool
2) I showed him love when he left for Celtic

I don't have to do it a third time. I JUST DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT ROBBIE KEANE ANYMORE

Looked lost after Berbatov left, and was never the same when he returned for his second spell at the club. He is a confidence player, and his Anfield experience ultimately ruined him by sapping that away.

Good luck to him.

Keane was a funny one. Those saying "get over it" are dismissing those saying "Keane betrayed us" without thinking it through. Only when you loved someone alot can you be hurt as much as some people are.

My point is, I fully understand those who still have a hard view on him. He sodded off for better prospects. Good on him, fine. But we aren't Wolves. We're a bid club, and it's no wonder there's people that are still hurt by what Robbie did. It wasn't enough we lost Berba in that window, we also lost our long standing talisman, to a club even then, on the decline. Those who aren't over what happened maybe loved him more than those happy to call him a legend back then.

Anyhow, I still thank Robbie for all the times he gave us. Always gave 110% for us, even in the handful of minutes he played this season. Just lost his mojo in the second coming. I wouldn't put him in the legend bracket, as if you look at the names in the bracket, the likes off Billy Nick, Hoddle, Perryman, Mabbutt, King and Crouch, he's nowhere near their level of love from fans. He was a legend, but you can lose such status with a betrayal, something he did.

Nevertheless if there was ever a player so near to legend status but not quite there, it's Keano. We'd long be playing Leeds in the Championship if it weren't for him in the earlier days of the 00's.

Keane-Berbatov was awesome while it lasted, back in 2005/2006. I can't help but dream of what might have been... that strike-force on the end of our current team. Why can we never quite get all the pieces of the jigsaw on the field at the same time?!

Oh well. Thanks for all you did for us Robbie, we won't forget the good times! 100+ goals puts him up there with the legends.

Spurs legend and probably my favourite Spurs player since Ginola. Wish him all the best and refuse to believe that with more chances he wouldn't have done better than the 1 goal in 20 odd league games we've got out of Crouch so far this season.

He made a bad error of judgment when he left for Liverpool but I can forgive him for that because of the wonderful service he had given to Spurs up until that time. How many times was he man of the match?

His energy and enthusiasm and what we thought were 100% love and loyalty and that he would spend the rest of his playing days at Tottenham were very special so it's no wonder we were so very disappointed when he decided on the move and some were more angry than unhappy about it.

I think "outside influences" precipitated his leaving and we all know that he was never the same player when he came back. A loss for us as well as for him which is very sad.

I wish him well.

Legend:

a. An unverified story handed down from earlier times, especially one popularly believed to be historical.
b. A body or collection of such stories.
c. A romanticized or popularized myth of modern times.

Well, whether you believe or not, Robbie was a big part of the Spurs story in our time and he'll be remembered by us all for whatever reason. Good luck Keano, relatively speaking, and thanks for the memories and goals
