Not Nuno's fault. He should never have been hired in the first place. Nice guy, but completely wrong appointment.

It's all on Levy.

Absolute disaster of a manager choice. Seemed like a genuinely nice guy so he did not deserve this experience.

Levy and co went through every option and came up short, finally selected Nuno as a last resort which smacked of deperation. The fans knew it, the players knew it. Some of those players need an absolute arse kicking after the effort they have put in though.

Let's hope Levy and Paritici get it right this time.

Sky reporting that discussion with conte are at an advanced stage and he’s flying to London today - fire up the flight tracker ?

I’d like to think if we’re at an advanced stage with Conte, he must have been promised a big transfer budget.

Let’s hope there’s a centre forward and creative midfielder on the same flight

Feel very bad about Nuno, tbh. Levy keeps making mistake after mistake, and everyone ends up feeling the consequences besides him.

Hopefully Nuno manages to recover from this, and us too I suppose.

Wasn't this Paratici's decision?

Mason in temporary charge?
Back the “old boys club” line up again then with Dele and Winks in the middle…

Perhaps he's a "nice guy", but there was no sign of Nuno being able to turn a squad full of high-quality internationals into anything like a team.

They weren't playing together and they weren't performing for him. He was given the chance to work with better footballers than previously and he produced worse football and worse results. He couldn't motivate the players, he couldn't create a team spirit, which was reputed to be a strength of his, and he couldn't devise a flexible and effective formation.

Most importantly, the football was never easy on he eye and the results could not be held up as a justification for the poor level of entertainment.

The club hierarchy have made some dubious decisions over the past two years, but Nuno is responsible for the way the team has been performing, not Levy.

Conte made it clear he wasnt interested in the job before, why would he want it now when the 'project' is in even deeper poo than before? We have little chance of making the top four, even winning the Europa Conference will now be more difficult, cant see what would attract him.

None of us and I repeat none of us should be 100% it will be Conte until it's confirmed and on the Spurs official website. I don't care how ridiculous the odds tumble to with the bookies even 1/10000 on, we've been down that road before very recently with odds on candidates only for there to be an 11th hour stumbling block that we all had a fair idea was there all along ......

Good luck in the future to Nuno. Levy has been all over the place in his selection of managers in the past but bringing in Nuno seems to be down to Paratici.
