IT took Tottenham 72 days to appoint Nuno Espirito Santo as manager. But just 89 days later his position is already under threat.
The Portuguese boss is fighting to keep his job after Spurs’ 3-1 defeat at Arsenal in Sunday's North London derby.

Sad to hear someone is going to lose their job (he will get a decent payout, so not too disastrous for him) , but he was the wrong appointment and we seemingly could not get anyone other than him with some (Potter, Rogers) turning us down.
Tottenham have lurched from one disaster to another following the CL final.
We really need a complete reset, will that happen, who knows.
The fans that go to the matches are brilliant but they need a team that cares, so sad at the moment.

The first half on Sunday was the worst I have ever seen from a Spurs team. Don’t know why they played like that, it sounds ridiculous, but I’m not sure if the manager can come back from that display.

Eleven goals conceded and three derby defeats in last four games says it all.
Won't be the first time a manager goes quickly , Brian Clough spent just forty-four days as manager of Leeds United in 1974.
Problem is who takes over if he does get the boot

Remember he was 5th choice no one will want the job now !!!
He’s not up to it, I’ve said that all along and it’s seems right to me !!!
Going backwards again ?

The easy bit is sacking him, the hard bit is who wants to take on the job?
We didn’t exactly have a queue in the summer?

I watched MNF last night and I thought Carragher did a good analysis, even before they scored there were opportunities for Arse to embarrass us through our own undoing. He showed where DA and TN were in advanced positions when long inaccurate balls were lumped up from the back for Arse to dominate and their midfield collect second balls unopposed. He stressed this must be a plan that our players did not buy into especially Kane and Son. Baldrick would have more tactical nous.

the harder part is finding the optimism that Levy can get the right man for the job given how shocking his track record with coaches is! They should call him the 'career ender!'

Fingers crossed we stumble on the answer like we did with Jol after Santini. Different crowd of players though. This lot don’t like anyone.

Maybe Man City will have a big win tonight…

Those first half tactics were the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen on a football pitch. It beggars belief that Nuno thought it was a good idea to empty the midfield and pump it up to a half arsed Kane, a player who has always struggled with those sort of aerial duels.

i think that ship has sailed unless Levy were to step aside.
